We got this for my 5 year old. He loves it. He does not go anywhere without it. If he stays with his grandparents it has to go with him. It is very durable. We live out in the country and he is able to ride anywhere out here. He has taken to the fields, to the ponds and through ankle deep grass. And it has made it through a rain storm. We had accidentally left it outside one evening and it came pouring down rain. A Florida afternoon thunderstorm. When we got it back out of the rain about a gallon of water came out of it and the lights were flashing, so we turned it upside down and the next day it was fine. All lights and sound still work just fine. And thats been over a month ago now and still going strong. It has definitely lived up to my expectations. And it well worth the money if you live out in the country with no sidewalks. And battery does last a good long while. He can go about 4/5 hours on one charge. ... show more

Overall, good product. Easily used by my nine-year-old, 11 year old and my husband. Looks like it will be good for outside use when weather permits. Complaints- loud incessant beeping every time someone is even slightly off-balance. Or near a wall, or hopping on or off the thing. My husband looked over the manual and re-calibrated it. It beeps a bit less now, but still enough to push you over the edge on a long day. There are bright lights at the bottom, which are useful to the rider in low-light, but bothersome to those not riding who dislike lights flashing in their eyes. ... show more

My 7-year old bought this. She convinced me to chip in one half the cost, because this unit will hold up to about 250 pounds. I weigh 200, and I wanted to try a hoverboard, too. (Many hoverboards are limited to less than 200 pounds.) Interestingly, this device is easy to use and responsive to my daughter's 60 lb weight, and it is still responsive to a much heavier rider like me. It's really different, fun way to glide over the ground. Charging it is easy, and it does seem to go about 45 minutes on a charge...we haven't really timed it or measured the distance, but it hasn't disappointed us or left anyone stranded. We haven't tried the bluetooth speaker, but based on the sound effects the hoverboard makes to convey its status, and the small size of the speakers, we are not in a rush to try out the speakers. Tiny and tinny. We have a few steep hills in our area, and the hoverboard carries my daughter right up the steep hill. Amazing. I haven't tried it on the steep hills because I'm not yet ready to lean forward into the hill....this is a skill level issue, I believe. ... show more

Bought 2 at Christmas 🎄. Rode once and put up till it got warmer. Now 2 months later one will not power on. Battery 🔋 seems to be full green light on charger is on but still board will. Not power on. Sent e mail to company will see what happens next. Spent good money to only ride once. Update. Got a hold of the company and they are spending batteries for both hoverboards. Hopefully this will fix the issues. Will advise latter when batteries show. Company was quick to reply. Very professional. ... show more
