I loved it. Powerful and it did a great job
I purchased this tool in April 2016. I loved it. Powerful and it did a great job!. However, it now has quit holding a charge as of November 1. It comes with a 3 Year Limited warranty on the blower and 1 year on the battery. I called Worx and was questioned with regard to my charging practices. In the end they said the Unit should only be charged for 90 minutes at one time and anything over that was improper, thus my unit warranty was voided. The manual says that a full charge takes 90 minutes. There are NO warnings with regard to overcharging. If this is an issue, it would only cost a few cents to add a circuit to turn off the charger after a few minutes. I advised the person that their manual had no warning of overcharging and was provided with a "one time deal" where they would send me a battery for $19.48 Shipping and Handling. This is not the kind of customer service one should receive.

Nearly great, but ultimately junk...
After six months of use of the WORX WG591 TURBINE 56V Cordless Blower, I'll offer the following. First the good news. The blower provides strong output...as good as the corded models I've owned. An optional nozzle constrictor would be amazing. Balance is great with minimal effort required to aim the blower as needed. Construction is very good with no obvious failure points and the battery removal/install couldn't be easier. The battery itself (56V version) has a meter showing remaining life (1/2/3) though no specific timescale is apparent. Now the bad news. The battery shipped showing a strength of "2" and has never charged higher. The continuous use cycle at full output is only about 8-9 minutes...probably as a result of the battery problem. Replacement batteries are crazy expensive...currently $126.50 while the complete blower is $185.99. If the battery is 68% of the blower cost, I fully expect that battery to be (1) perfect when delivered and (2) long-lasting. This battery is neither. Bottom Line: Great blower with a horrible battery. Would not buy again or recommend any one else buy at all. Too bad...

Decided to spend the cash on this and upgrade from cheapie 18 volt Ryobi, and WOW what a difference!
This thing blows. Seriously. This baby is a hurricane in your hands! I have used a cheapie 18 volt Ryobi blower from Home Depot the last few years, which replaced a good old-fashioned gas powered blower that stopped working. The gas blower worked amazingly well, but I wanted something without the hassle of a gas engine. The Ryobi worked ok as a "sweeper" for the sidewalk, driveway, and patio, but certainly could not blow leaves in grass, and it took a long time just to sweep hard surfaces. I finally gave in and decided to try out this one based on it winning a Popular Mechanics blower test shootout with similar-priced units. Note that I purchased this at full price through Amazon (this is not a promotional test or biased in any way whatsoever). Now yes, this one costs double what the cheapie Home Depot 18 volt Ryobi, but you truly get what you pay for. This baby on the turbo mode requires a firm grip. It is truly about the same power as my gas unit, which is amazing to me. Sweeping the patio now takes just a few seconds compared to a couple of minutes with the Ryobi. I can now blow leaves out of rock beds and grass that the Ryobi wouldn't touch. Not a real gripe because it hasn't shut down for my large lawn yet, but the battery shows only a third left after using this unit for less than 10 minutes. But I'm able to do the work so much faster that it hasn't been a problem. But if you need to use this commercially for lots of lawns, stick with gas blowers. For normal home owners though, this baby should more than meet your needs for a blower. VERY highly recommended - love it!

A WONDERFUL PRODUCT THAT PERFORMS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL - BETTER THAN ELECTRIC BLOWERS, however read below....
A magnificent blower - makes mincemeat out of debris. Very powerful, leaves and other materials have no chance. Two issues - needs a second battery for backup as needed. I was able to complete about 2/3 of my needs about 15 minutes at high speed More of an issue though, the blower shipped to me would not release the battery, as the instructions state. The seam to the front of the battery compartment interferes with the horizontal ridge on the battery which is used by the locking mechanism to hold the battery in place when installed in the blower. "Jiggling" will ultimately release the battery, but this issue is an irritant and might possibly cause problems as the blower ages (The instructions read, "Depress the battery release button to release battery pack from your tool". NOT so in my unit). Thus, it's going back to Amazon for a replacement. Hopefully this is not a design defect impacting all units. SO BEWARE!! UPDATE: Amazon replaced my first blower and all is fine now - I find that pushing the battery slightly against the outer edge of the battery compartment when removing the battery ovoids the problem I reported. After about 2 months of regular use of the 591, I am even more impressed with its operation. True it would be nice if the charge would last longer, but I have found that for those tough FALL jobs, the battery will last about 12-15 minutes running flat out, but on medium speed which is suitable for most jobs I can get about 25-30 minutes of operation. So, to eliminate the battery charge issue, I am purchasing a second blower (a better deal than paying about $150 for a second battery and charger.
