I was in a bit of a pickle since my previous secondary monitor died, and I really count on that for productivity working from home. I know this is a television, but there really isn't much difference between a TV and a monitor these days. They all have the same connections and specs. So I bought this
as a secondary monitor since the size fit perfectly for my desk space. The details and product information refer to this as a "High Definition (HD) television with reduced motion blur and a crisp picture", but do not let that fool you. The resolution is ONLY 720p. Sure I can see the pixels clearly, but the whole image is horrible. And they don't even tell you what the refresh rate is, so I have no idea what I was expecting. It is horrible for reading text, video is not sharp at all and still has plenty of motion blur, and it was a pain to set up. I didn't know I was going to be forced to create an account for a television either. I literally couldn't even use it until I connected it to wifi and made the account which tripled the setup time. Overall, I never should have bought this thing. I needed a quick replacement that seemed decent, and I have always been happy with Westinghouse in the past. Hell, I used to sell Westinghouse monitors and TVs to people in retail speaking about the quality. It's too late to return this by the time I could afford another replacement so I am stuck with this junk. I wouldn't even be able to re-sell this for half it's cost with these specs. If I did somehow manage to, I would feel guilty for doing so. I definitely feel like I was ripped off here.
