I needed a Cargo Carrier for a family member's mobility scooter when we go on vacation. Due to the location, I wanted one that could fold to help with parking. The package arrived and 1 end had a slight dent. This ended up slightly denting the vertical aluminum panel on the non ramp end. I could probably straighten it out, but it was slight enough that it did not cause concern for the structure or stability of the Cargo Carrier. I was very impressed that the main aluminum frame, including the ramp came assembled. Most of it only uses rivets but that also makes it easier for repair if ever needed. The instructions have you attach reflectors, brackets to hold the ramp vertically, and then you attach the black hitch mount to the aluminum frame. All the bolts come with either self locking washers or self locking nuts (and sometime both). The sizes of nuts are not listed. Most of them are 10 mm, with 2 of them being 8 mm, the stabilizer piece has 2 18mm nuts and the bolt for the hitch is somewhere around 24mm. I don't have any 24mm wrenches but that is about the size the crescent wrench said it was. A ratcheting socket set makes it easier although there are 4 bolts that extend so far through the nut you need extra deep sockets, open sockets, or a wrench. You also need an Allen wrench for the other end of the bolts. It is light enough that I assembled everything by myself, but it does make it easier to have some assist you with the insertion into the hitch. It feels solid even though it is made out of aluminum and it looks just like the professional pictures that Vevor publishes. There are a couple of positive things that are not mentioned in the description of the Cargo Carrier. Before Assembly, you can choose to have the ramp unfold to the left or the right, you just need to change where you put the reflectors and reverse the hitch mount directions. It can also be used without the folding hitch attachment. It will only stick out from the vehicle a few inches but, at least on my truck, the ramp can unfold completely with hitting anything and there are no concerns about rubbing. You can still use the folding hitch mount if you need extra clearance. Small changes that are personal to me. I will be replacing the 3 small cotter pins with either a better cotter pin or a bowtie cotter pin. The small ones are fairly flimsy and don't seem to hold tightly. I replaced one of the large cotter pins that goes in the trailer pin with a lynch pin. The large cotter pins are solid but almost too solid and the pin for the hinge will be used a lot. The other trailer pin I will probably swap out with a locking one. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the product. This is my second Vevor product and the quality of this one surpasses the first product that I purchased. I will likely purchase more Vevor products in the future.

Had to have this to haul a scooter and wheel chair. Works as it should. I have a truck and it is a big help in not having to lift anything. Easy to assemble and it is heavy duty. Adds about 6 inches to back of bumper just have to remember its back there when backing up. Great item. Love it. Price was just right. Everything fits perfect on the carrier.

Sturdy and fairly easy to put together. One problem in the instructions, it showed the plate that holds the ramp with a pin on the outside of the carrier when it actually has to be on the inside. Not a big problem except it uses lock nuts and one of them stripped out while removing to move the plate. Not a big deal just had to replace the nut. The tie downs they give you are useless. All they are good for is a false since of security. Replace them and you've got a pretty good setup.

This took about an hour to put together in a parking lot with two humans and some basic tools. Very worth it, the wheelchair that travels on it is heavy (60+ lbs) so it saves the back of the person who would normally be lifting it into the trunk of the car. It is steady, creates no noticeable wind noise, and can flip up when it's empty, so parking with it is not a problem

bought this cause my car cannot hold a heavy metal one. Not all bolts were with it so had to go buy some. Put it together its very flimsy. Not heavy aluminum. Floor buckled some with 200 pound scootor. Real little round bolts to use to hold items in place. I guess would be ok for suit cases and such but not good for 4 wheeler or anything like that. I gave it to my daughter to haul her clothes and boxes around. At least someone got some use from it. Very pricely piece of aluminum junk, do not recommend buying

Would have given it 5 stars, but it arrived with some damage (corner bent, grated floor bent up near the front) doesn't effect functionality. Came in mostly assembled, took all of about 20 minutes to finish. Initially the carrier seems to be a little wobbly, but it was stable driving with a mobility scooter attached. Edit: Does not work well on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, platform is too high and ramp is too steep.

The carrier initially arrived missing the tie down straps. 5 stars to the company! The parts were replaced almost right away and the speed and the helpfulness has impressed me. The carrier itself is sturdy and has improved my life...I am now able to easily get my electric scooter on and off the carrier, which allows me to take it everywhere with me without having to disassemble the scooter. And the convenience of the carrier being able to fold up against the back of my van lets me be able to keep my parking space where I live! All around joy at purchasing this!
