These pressurized systems are always a pain to get into to clean the filter media. Most have a backwash setting but only seems to clean the container and not filters when on. This one is better with the crank handle. You can tell a huge difference and know that the filter media is getting cleaned out!

The filter seems to work great at clearing the water pond cleared up in a couple of days but the UV Light quick working after a couple of days so now it's turning green from algae growth contacted customer service and still waiting to hear back with solution

This filter is junk. I finally got a pump for it and hooked it all up. I used a pump rated for this filter. As soon as I turned it on the top immediately broke off at the top screws and water started shooting everywhere. This was not a cheap purchase for me and now it was like throwing my money away. I ordered a pump and it got lost in the mail and after waiting to see if it would arrive to which is did not i had to re order a pump. Because of this the return window is now closed and there is nothing i can even do except warn others about this issue I had and hope that you think twice before purchasing

I really appreciate the product support. I am using this filter for a small duck pond. I have 4 ducks. I like that the output valve can go back into the pond or into the garden. I use that feature to fertilize my whole garden.

I have 1100+gallon pond with 22 koi fish and this filter with a pump will filter all the water and make it crystal clear. My water was constantly green and murky, now it is perfect. Every so often I turn the handle to “clean” the interior filters and turn the nozzle to out and pump out some of the sludge from the bottom of the pond. Easy to use and my water fall is beautiful now. It’s a must buy for bigger ponds!
