I bought these to replace the soft sided crates we'd been living with in the bedroom and living room. We have two 100 lb labs who love to sleep in their crates and are obedient to "get in the house" when visitors come and we need to keep down the rambuctioness factor. I was worried about the color, we seem to have so many wood colors going on. They ended up almost perfectly matching our wood floor, light grey with a little hint of brown. Overall not bad and I don't feel like I have to explain the crates anymore. They could go with a more grey decor or with brown. Most of my tables are in the brown family and these look fine. They are made of pretty sturdy material although it is clear we will have to use inside latches as just the outside latch opens with a soft push. Not a deal breaker. My husband put it together in a short amount of time, I would say it is almost equal to an IKEA piece of furniture, although not quite as sturdy on the connectors. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I've perused "furniture crates" on the web for awhile and didn't really want to spend $1000+ for a custom built or larger crate. This works fine and makes me happy every time I look at it. I did end up exchanging the medium for the large. While my pups like to curl up and the Med fit, it wasn't enough for them to spread out due to the fact that part of the front is stationary and only the doors open. The other issue with the Medium is that is was pretty short. I have them up against a wall in both cases and they are a little too short to set decorative items on. (we have 12 ft ceilings - sorry not bragging) - but they ended up kinda dwarfed even with art work on the wall above them. Shorter ceilings might not be the same factor. Just trying to give you a full and honest review. Overall I am super happy with my purchase. I bought one to try it out then bought three more so I'd have two for each room. Wouldn't have spent the money if I didn't think it was worth it. Good Luck! ... show more

I purchased this over other options because of the tray feature. It just makes so much sense if you are buying a more expensive dog crate. If accidents happen, they can be cleaned up easily! It is aesthetically pleasing as well ๐Ÿ˜Š. On top of that, our little Yorkies love the cushion! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Wonderful cage. Sturdy and a beautiful accent piece, especially for dead space. Dogs love it, I bought three and put them side by side. I ended up leaving the middle gates out of the assembly so they can move back and forth into the three crates, or separate while we're gone. I got this back in March about a week before we got our dog. It was easy to assemble with one person and has held up through her growth. Shes about 25lbs now at 8 months. I attached some 8/9 week old and current photos. its definitely worth the buy and gives your puppy room to grow(i got the large since i wasn't sure what kimda dog we were gonna get) from day one she thought it was home and ever had an accident in her crate.
