    • Assembly was difficult but the product is fine.
I struggled with assembly for a few reasons: The directions didn't link to the parts correctly in two cases. First, the directions showed using screw type "V". There were no screws with that label. And, there were four screws and washers that were silver colored in the same package and same size as the more typically black screws and washers. There was no indication as to where these silver screws were to be used but two places (4 screws each) where silver screws could have been installed against a similar metal. The worst thing though was that the first side legs were mis-machined and the slots were not long enough to fit the matching threaded holes. Super frustrating trying to install. Finally, the two little screws with rubber 0-rings that hold the glass cover handles didn't work properly. The 0-rings squished out each time I tightend the little screws. We bought some flat washers to replace these. The tool that was included was tough to use because the long end of the hex allen wrench esd machined into a tiny phillips screwdriver for the two screws. This meant that you could not use that end of the wrench for the the other screws (and there were a lot of them!) I really like the pull-out drawer for the propane tank. However, when I adjusted the legs to level the table, the support wheel for the tank did not touch the patio surface and the wheel was not adjustable. And the weight of the tank can cause the drawer to slide open. A latch would have been nice. The table looks great. The burner lites quickly and it was nice that all the accessaries were included though there should have been more glass beads. (I have not assembled the glass wind-screen yet.) The glass top is nice and now that it is assembled, I think we will be happy with the product. ... show more

I purchased this firepit because the reviews were very good. When I received the parts everything was in the 3 boxes. Unfortunately (like many of the other firepits , the sliding draw did not slide properly and the draw would not close. I wrote to the company and after a few conversations (I did send them photos and videos) they sent me another firepit w/out the burner parts or glass beads. Everything went together smoothly and now the draw slide in and out w/out issue. Though we did have an issue the company stood by their product and we now have a working firepit. I recommend 2 things 1, test sliding the draw piece into the track before assembling. It may lock into place but if it slides correctly you can build around it. 2 2. Be very care ful of the copper tubing on the gas assembly it crimps easily. Otherwise fairly easy to put together. I did it in a little over an hour by myself. ... show more

Came in 2 separate packages. Assembly took about an hour and the only hard part was getting the drawer onto the sliders. I work doing remodels so I'm used to draw slides but these were the hardest ones I've had to deal with. After a while I finally got it on. Other than that I am thrilled with it. I got another 10lb of beads and they cover the burners perfectly. Will update if anything changes. ... show more

We ordered this model because it was the only highly rated fire-table with both a custom made glass windscreen and cover. We ordered from Decors-A because they were the only place that had the black model which was a perfect match for our deck decor. The shipment comes in 3 separate boxes. The main box (box B) contained all the structure for the table as well as the glass top and glass fire-bowl lid. Box B arrived so smashed that the metal frame and 1 leg were crushed. The glass top was nothing more than tiny shards of glass scattered throughout the entire box. Metal pieces were scratched from all the glass shifting around. The other 2 boxes with the fire-bowl and glass windscreen were fine. I sent Decors-A pictures of the mess and they agreed to send another box B and give us some credit as well. When the 2nd box B arrived, I knew we were in trouble because it sounded like thousands of marbles were rolling around inside. I very carefully open this box with surgical precision to keep the glass shards contained. All the metal pieces were fine, but the glass top was again shattered. I again sent pictures to Decors-A and they said that they would try to send a package with just the glass top. After a slight delay, the glass top arrived. Amazingly, it was in perfect condition. The table now works perfectly and is beautiful. There were quite a few times during this ordeal that I thought we were going to end up getting screwed, but through it all Decors-A came through! Another company might have given up and just said goodbye, but we really wanted this table and Decors-A made sure that we got it!
