Best table on the market!
ABSOLUTELY the very best item I've purchased from Amazon. The table came earlier than I expected. It's heavy, so get help bringing it in or moving the unpackaged box. It does not have an adjustable height and will not fit a King size bed, however, the description tells you that on the purchase page. The description of the item tells EXACTLY what to expect. Also, any damage is likely from the shipping. My shipment was perfectly boxed and packaged. The table is made of very solid materials and accommodates my office needs when I'm in bed. I used Velcro to attach a electrical strip so that I didn't have alot of cords in my bed. A great item and well worth the price... I'd purchase it again in a heartbeat!

I was afraid that this table would not be the ...
I was afraid that this table would not be the correct height to clear my bed, but it does. I have a 16" mattress on a 10 inch high platform bed, and there is plenty of room between the table and the bed. If my bed were any lower, the table would be too high. The only drawback to this table is that it is not height adjustable. If you're planning on putting this over your bed, just be aware of the height.

Perfect Table for Queen Bed- only.
LOVE!!! the measurements in description are correct. My bed is a Queen size and is about 24 inch high with bed frame and mattress so plenty of room with height. I would have given it a 5 but the instructions were horrible. Literally a picture of each piece and what each step looks like AFTER it's assembled. No telling where each piece goes per step so be careful when installing the legs. They are all the same pieces but don't just go anywhere.

Finally I got the over bed table I have always wanted!
I have been waiting and waiting for this over bed table to be made in white to go with my room. I even wrote to manufacture. Finally they listened! I was over the moon when I saw this and ordered it right away. It arrived quickly and fairly easy to put together. It even came with a little screw driver. There are some scratches here and there but lucky not too visible. I am also impressed with the quality of the table, the legs are metal and I think the table top is made of real wood because it was quite heavy. The only thing is if you have a tall mattress, you may find it sits a little low if the wheels are all the way in but I like it this way. I believe you can adjust the height tho.

Should have invented this when they invented the bed.
One of the casters doesn't spin easily, but I wrote them and asked if they'd replace it. Other than that, this thing is amazing. I can lie on the bed and use a laptop by leaning the back of the laptop against the edge of the table while resting the bottom edge of the laptop on a small pillow on my gut. (That small amount of pressure doesn't cause the table to roll out of position.) I still have enough clearance under the table to put a pillow under my knees, but I'm thin. I'm going to order a split keyboard (with 20" extended separation) so I can type while resting my hands at my sides. It rolls away to the side of the room (or the end of the bed) when you need it to. The relatively narrow width makes it seem less unobtrusive, but the long length give you plenty of surface area. My bedroom looks much neater now without my laptop, books, pens and ephemera scattered on the bed and dresser. It's excellent for those who can't sit at desks, and the price is right because it's laminate. The baffle is held on with pegs, but I didn't attach it -- put it into the storage closet in case I change my mind someday. The holes for the pegs are visible on the surface, but I don't care. If you're tall and have a large kitchen and need an inexpensive island for more prep space, you could leave off the baffle and buy some large cutting boards for the top and wheel it around for that purpose. (If you're under 5'7", it would be too high to do knife work comfortably.) Bar stools render it a viable long desk or long "side table" when pushed against a wall. If you leave off the casters you'll lose 2 1/4" in height, but you'll also lose all the cool versatility. Everyone who's seen it thinks it's wonderful.

Not for king size beds.
It’s perfect however I have a king size bed and it’s about 8 inches shy from the width. I’m so sad :( I guess I can use it in the living roo.

Ikea Quality Beware Of Seller
I expect an immediate refund. I purchased the white table and it arrived with obvious wear and tear, broken metal all underneath the table itself, nuts and bolts loose all over the box, missing two tools listed on the assembly instructions, and assembles only as well as a piece of kid's Ikea furniture. If it wasn't already obvious that I received a used item though I paid for a new item, someone literally left their full-size screwdriver inside the box. I'm not paying $180 for a banged up, used desk. Seller needs to contact me for a refund immediately.
