I have had this product up & running for a few days now & I love it! The picture at night is just as clear as during the day & the motion sensor even picks up my cat at the door. It took all of five minutes to set up & I love that you can connect it with your Alexa so when I leave I tell her & she sets to 'Guard'.     • Easy to use and setup. Motion Detection BAD!!!
I wanted to try out this Outdoor Motion Detector camera to "watch" my front door area. Easy to install. Good quality picture and stores two days of "30 second videos" to the Cloud. The down side is that motion detection is BAD. If I get about five feet away and wave my arms and jump up and down, is sees me and starts recording. Anything over 6 feet away and nothing start the recording. There is a sensitivity setting in the app and I set to all the options, LOW, Med, High and Max. That did not make a difference. I called support twice and did as they suggested. The documentation say Motion Detection is 30 feet. No difference. Finally I just move the camera really close to where the person needs to be in order to start the motion detection. Of course they could also just take the camera with them, since they are that close. ... show more

    • Very nice build quality so-so picture quality.
When I opened this camera I was very impressed with the build quality.. It feels very solid, has an excellent amount, and the app works very nice... The live view loads very quickly and the features are nice such as voice prompts built in, etc. The disappointment is picture quality... Unfortunately this seems to be the case with all 1080p Outdoor Wireless Security cameras.. I have tried a few new and non of them seem to be as sharp as a 1080p Blu Ray on TV... I am trying to have a bird feeder watch camera out back.. Most of the picture fully zoomed out looks OK but I noticed with a different brand I was comparing with (bought this one hoping it would be better than other based on reviews), there were aspects that were much sharper on the other brand. I.E. on the other brand I could see the grain on the fence, this camera was a bit to blurry to see the grain.. The difference was also apparent when looking across to the apartment complex on other side of my home.. Neither Cameras had readable license plates which was disappointing on both, but on the other brand I could make out the building number of the building across from us, albeit a little blurry.. On this camera it was a complete blur you couldn't even tell there was a number on the building at all.. Also digital zoom on this camera is a little funky.. When you slightly pinch out with your fingers to zoom in, it zooms more than you'd like and is incredibly blurry and you can't make anything out.. With the other brand you could zoom in a little or a lot, more control... I certainly can't say that zoom quality is perfect, not by a long shot, but even still that was better than this camera did. You can't see any definition of small birds coming to my feeder with either of the cameras compared (or any 1080p counterparts I've tried), but the brand that won over this one has much more potential of making out medium to larger birds. So in summary, this camera had great potential, missed by the less than desirable picture quality.... Thus I gave 3 stars, not terrible but certainly not great either. ... show more

    • Useless camera/waste of time & money
I was very hopeful when purchasing this camera and was desperate to find something of great quality and for a reasonable price. Someone had broken into my vehicle prior to purchasing this camera so as soon as it arrived I unpackaged the camera and began setting it up. I downloaded the app as per the instructions and followed the steps on the app. Now I do understand it advised not to use 5G instead to use 2.4G which I knew I had coming. We changed it. Still could not connect. We attempted this about 100 times and no luck. We even tried resetting but nothing. I tried to call the customer service number and they were closed, i went to the website and it wouldn’t give me any information could be due to my phone settings. I looked up all the reviews on Amazon and YouTube for help and got nothing. This camera was a complete waste of time and money. I don’t understand why they would make it this difficult to connect. Not only that but this is mostly used for security of your private space so like any other security systems I think they should AT LEAST have a 24/7 customer service line available. I finally gave up and decided to return the camera since it was just useless to have. ... show more
