This is an excellent survival bag/bivy! It's tough, compact and light weight. It's made from the same material as their emergency blankets. I'm truly impressed by the products that Titan puts out! As an Eagle Scout I believe in being prepared and I've used my fair share of survival & camping gear. Titan is leading the way in survival innovation with products like this and their new Survivorcord. If you don't have any Survivorcord in your survival gear or Bug Out Bag, you need to! This is 550 paracord with 3 additional survival products within the threads. There's one copper wire, a 20lb test fishing line and a line of waxed jute. Now you can carry a stretch of paracord that also has you set to start a fire, fish and snare(along with many other creative options) within the same amount of space. Why wouldn't you want to upgrade your current gear with products that are stronger, lighter, take up less space and offer more solutions??? This is just my passionate opinions. I'm not getting paid nor even a discount. I've benefitted from many of your reviews and suggestions so I felt it was time for me to give back in an area that I know pretty well. First off this is not my first Titan purchase and I've never been let down before. This bag is made of their stronger Mylar material that they have used for blankets in the past. It's the best material I've had for these type blankets but now in an enclosed bag. They make my blankets almost obsolete. The pouch it comes in will protect these bags 1000% better than a zip-lock bag or shrink wrap ever would that you already have. The pouch is rip stop material and more like a lightweight pack fabric. For space the whole thing will squish to about half the size of the loaded pouch or you could fit 2, maybe 3 in the pouch. I purchased 3 for 3 separate go bags but frankly I didn't get enough. I probably need 1 in the car for every member of the family. It's still one of those "you hope you never use it" things but if you do need it there should be no odd-man-out. If you travel commonly in sparsely populated areas I cannot imagine not having some in the car. ... show more

Won't keep you warm in really cold weather but this with a Titan Mylar space blanket or a wool blanket and you are good to go. Much lighter than a sleeping bag.

This is just God awful and I hate to say it reading other reviews saying this is a veteran ran company. It's just a terrible product, they literally took 2 mylar blankets and taped them together, I was opening mine up like you would a trash bag and it ripped on the tape seem. It's not "extra thick", its not durable, it's an awful product please do not buy this, it has ruined the want to buy titan survivor cord. I highly doubt they care because im just one person but I won't be buying anything else from titan. This is what the world has come to. People just milking the public, it can't be used as a poncho because there's no head hole, this is basically false advertising. With such a strong name as "titan" this would be the perfect product to test for the company especially since they advertise this product as "extra thick". It's not. Final say is its just 2 blankets tapped together, not extra thick, not durable. ... show more

Order two of these emergency mylar sleeping bags and they go great in my bug out bag. It will definitely come in handy as an addition to my regular sleeping bag to allow the sleeping bag to be effective to lower temperatures. It is light and compact and you could roll it in with your regular sleeping bag so when it is in the compression sack it will not take up any additional space. Quality product!!! ... show more

Titan has been very good about making contact to ensure that I'm satisfied with the product.
