  • Avoid. Insanely high temps. No fan controller.
Move to 1 star vs 5 stars. I build 2-3 computers a week. This case started of great. It’s now my worst case purchase. 1. Pre-installed fans. They are not motherboard controlled so they just spin and don’t care what temps are needed. The front fans are mounted outside the case. This gives them little room to Intake air. So in return the inside case temps spiked with components exceeding 90c. 3. Hard drive slots. Just a pain. Best to install the hard drives before anything else. Resolution. If you must buy this case, do this. Remove the front three fans. Install two on the front inside and one in the back. Take the back fan and install it on the top. Make sure to run that fan to the motherboard so at least one fan is temp controlled. By doing this my temps went from 90c + to the mid 70s under heavy gaming. It does hurt the front look of the computer a little. So prob just avoid buying all together. I’m a huge thermaltake fan. Unfortunately they dropped the ball on this design. ... show more

  • Great case for RGB, but watch for those PSU spot and back panel plates
PROS: Case fans look absolutely great. 7 different colors to choose from or, if you prefer, off (great for if the computer is in your room, like mine is). I love the fact that the RGB button on the front lets you control the fans, or you can control it with the motherboard (which I still haven’t figured out…) Very quiet. When first turning on the case after assembly, I was amazed at how quiet all 4 fans were. 3 front USB ports – very handy. Very roomy inside. Plenty of space for several SSDs, and a large motherboard. Clearance for the side panel is pretty good. I got a rather large graphics card and had no issues with the side panel. Cable management is pretty good. This may vary with your build, but either way there are a lot of holes to feed your wires. CONS: -HDD installation was awful. Even now, my 10TB NAS drive is actually cockeyed, since I couldn’t get it to sit straight. Because of this, I had to remove one of the front fans and add another screw to make sure that it didn’t move. It’s supposed to take only 2 screws to secure. I’m assuming this needs some sort of tray for the sides – but I did not get one with either the case or my HDD. (Take this one with a grain of salt, because I’m a derp and should have realized this needed a tray, and contacted the manufacturer to find out what's what) -The rear fan hit the top of my motherboard. This had to be removed and relocated to the top of the case. This could be a result of the motherboard I chose, but there should be a bit more space provided. -My case arrived dented at the bottom, where the PSU sits. This is not the fault of ThermalTake, and I probably should have returned it to Amazon, but it would have been too much of a hassle to do this. My dad was kind enough to get a hammer and Flathead screwdriver to flatten the bottom section out, but even he couldn’t get it completely flat. I only was able to put in two screws to secure the PSU, since the bottom screw holes are jacked. Again, this is not ThermalTake’s fault, it’s just an FYI. -The plates for the graphics card/PCI express slots had to be removed with PLIERS. Make sure that you remove them before installing anything. I got infuriated and just took them ALL off – why did this have to be so hard? -The owner’s manual. That’s right, the manual itself. It took me 4 hours of searching to realize that the “SATA POWER” cable was what powered the RGB front fans. The manual gives absolutely no information on how to power the fans. This was my first RGB case, so this would have been very helpful. At least the manual tells you which cable is for the RGB for the motherboard. The manual also did not indicate HOW to install the HDD. It just said you can install one. No kidding, but how exactly would you like me to do that without the tray, ThermalTake? *FINAL THOUGHTS: I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who wants some RGB customization. Chassis manufacturers are not always compatible with us girls who love pink or purple – 10 points for purple fans! And the room for the motherboard/graphics card is great. However, this is a very unforgiving case when it come to the PSU (even with my small hands) and those pesky back plates for the PCI/video card slots. Plug in all your cables to the PSU FIRST (which should be common sense – but I do everything backward), and be sure to plug in the SATA power cable to the PSU, whether you’re going to have an HDD or not -otherwise the fans won’t work. As for the HDD installation, is this Thermaltake’s fault, or mine? ... show more

  • Beautiful but Flawed
First off, I think this case looks amazing. I picked it up for a new build with a Ryzen 5 2600x at its core with a x470 motherboard. I wanted something much more modern to house this beast in. When I came across a tempered glass ATX case with 4 included fans, 3 of which are full RGB which can sync with your motherboard, I decided it was worth a try despite the extremely limited reviews and reactions to this product. Overall I'm content with it, but building in it was a pain. The 3.5 drive bays have an awkward setup, the rear PCIE covers need to be broken off instead of simply unscrewed and taken out, and the included manual is extremely barebones. Furthermore, space behind the rear panel for cable management is definitely lacking. The power supply shroud is well made with openings for your 6+2 power cables for your GPU of choice. It's a bit warm temperature-wise in the case, but that's not surprising with a window on both the front and side of the case. If I were to buy a case right now, I wouldn't pick this one again. The biggest glaring issue with this case by far is the terrible airflow due to the front fans being choked by the acrylic glass. It's still usable and gets the job done, and it's quite pleasant to look at, but thermal performance and other design issues makes this case overall mediocre at best. ... show more

  • Broken Fan and Front Panel
The media could not be loaded. I bought this case, because it was an Amazon Recommended choice. However, when I received the case, one of the fans wasn't working (bottom one), and when I removed the safety film off the front panel, there was a large crack in the middle of it. The material the case is made out of is very flimsy. Would not recommend. Amazon support did a great job in providing compensation for the damage though. ... show more
