My expensive hearing aids would not charge, so I bought these Tangsonic amplifiers to use temporarily until I resolved the issue. I am happier with these amplifiers, although they need to be charged every 4-5 hours after use. Since my expensive hearing aids are inner ear, I had a hard time adjusting to the amplifiers, as I expected them to fit the same way, but it takes practice, practice, practice to line them up correctly on the surface of the inner ear. With lots of practice, the squeal will go away once they are inserted correctly, and different ear tip sizes are provided to find the proper fit. I have greater hearing loss in my left ear, so I wear the amplifier on the left, and my regular inner-ear hearing aid on the right side. The amplifiers have higher volume settings than my inner ear hearing aid, which is a plus and I love that the volume level can be discreetly adjusted with the exterior button. My inner ear hearing aids require tapping on the side of the ear for a higher or lower volume level, which is not discreet. Since I only use one amplifier, I keep the charger with me to replace and charge devices throughout the day. I've only been using the amplifiers for about a month, so I'm not sure how long they will last. For the price, they have already been a great investment. I have used two other different amplifier brands before which did not work for me, or they quit working after a very short period of time. These Tangsonic Hearing Amplifiers work very well and I highly recommend.

Pros: Quite decent amplification even at lower levels. Clarity of the output is quite good Device can be turned on or off with long press on the fingerprint. Can be used in either ear. Cons: Frequently produces loud feedback squeal if finger or part of ear is too close to the microphone. Even though additional ear inserts were provided, the device may still be uncomfortable. Moderately frequently, the device seems unresponsive to fingertaps or holds. Maybe my fingers are too dry? Summary: In general, this device does a pretty good to adequate job for my needs (mild hearing loss).

My old hearing aids died and I needed a new pair. I got these and I LOVE THEM! They work better than any other brand I’ve tried! I highly recommend!

My aunt is 96 years old and needed new hearing aids that were simple to use. She has tried other hearing aids in the past and was not successful. These hearing aids are easy for her to use and she is able to actively participate in conversations and watch her TV using a lower volume. The on and off bottom works perfect for her as well as the volume control and it is very easy to charge
