abunda_amazon_reviews The price for the lens I wanted was the same across the internet. However, the Digital Goya site was offering an assortment of extras as well, so I ordered from them. Usually I feel that the extras that are included in such deals are not worth the trouble it takes to throw them out once they arrive. In this case, however, several of the extras were of good quality and quite useful. I had no need of the UV filter but the other items have all been useful. In particular, the backpack, which I assumed would just be a piece of junk, is very nice and has become my default carrying option when I don't need a lot of gear along. The order was delivered promptly, as I would expect from any internet store these days, and I have not had any reason to contact Digital Goya about this order, so I can't comment on their customer service. However, I think the quality accessories that were included in this deal are enough to bring me back again for my next purchase.;;Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Good buy;;SH;;/gp/customer-reviews/R117SC9EANRNL0/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07481KNLQ;;;Lens works great on my Canon 5D MK IV.... I did make some "fine" adjustments on focus using a ruler @ 45 deg. to the camera. Very minor, +/- 1 on a few focal lengths. You have to PDF them your receipt after you register the serial number....Whatever. Lens is heavy...its a 2.8, so about normal for this build of lens. Included Click-lock hood is great. Focus is fast and quiet, not canon STM quiet, but very close. Low light focus ability seems to match canon glass. The only improvement would be to be able to set the zoom lock at the prime focal lengths, 35, 50, 70....as of now it only locks in the 24mm position....just a personal preference...the zoom stays where you put it and is nicely dampened as is. It was a good travel lens but I felt that it was not sharp enough for prints above 4 to 5 inches. I own a 150-600 version 1 Tamron and it is very sharp. I thought the 24-70 G2 would give me the sharpness similar or better than that lens. But the copy I received was not sharp at any setting and the Tap In module could not correct it enough. Had to return it via Amazon's return policy. I contacted the seller me but they advised me they didn't handle warranty issues for my lens. Their 2 options were to send it to Tamron or return it to Amazon. I had thought buying from a Tamron Authorized Seller on Amazon would give me the option to deal directly with them if problems arose. Doesn't work that way and that was my misunderstanding. (Live and learn) I will go with Canon lenses and a local camera shop in the future.

Buy this lens!!!!!
This lens is fantastic with my Nikon d750. Vc works well and images are very sharp wide open. I didn't even consider the nikon version given the great reviews of this lens, not to mention the extra $$$. Save your money, buy it now! You won't regret it.

Great lens and some good extra items for the same price
the bundle is great, you get a good memory card (depending on the use you want to give), for me, it works very well on photography and I am using with a canon 5d mark iv. The lens is very sharp, the backpack is very good for a camare and a couple of short lenses like the one in the bundle. The fabric tissue is ok, as well as the air pump. The filter seems to work well which is surprising (cheap filters tends to reduce sharpness dramatically and I haven't notice that much reduction with this one, it actually works very well so far). The monopod is for a very light equipment, not for serious use. The lens pouch is very nice (althought the lens itself has its own pouch, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra one for another lens, etc). If you consider this bundle has the same or almost the same price as the lens alone, it is a no brainer decision

Good 3rd partly lens for the money
I took quite a long time deciding to try this lets as my first choice was the Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8, but due to the size and weight of it I wanted a different option for easier carry. Although It certainly does not out preform the Nikkor it is a acceptable second choice. The biggest short is the auto in low light has some difficulty but i expected this so I am always prepared to work around this. I read a lot of reviews to make my decision and compared it also to Tamrons competitors lens it was clear to me that the Tamron was the choice to make. If you expect Nikkor performance then that is the Lens you should get, nothing else. If you want a acceptable second choice that is half the money, a couple small shortcomings then give this a try, also I'm using it on a d810.

Don’t bother with this lens.
I read a gazillion reviews before purchasing this lens, and most suggested that it was just as good as its Nikon counterpart. Well, I took the risk, was super excited to save some money, and I thoroughly regret it. The bottom line is that this lens just isn’t as sharp. I used it for 3 solid months, and was continually frustrated with the “softness” that every picture had. I calibrated it, and after the adjustments, it’s kind of tolerable, if you just don’t care about your photos being tack sharp. Anyway, don’t waist your money, just save up and buy the Nikon (or Canon). (PS- the rest of the stuff in this bundle is actually pretty decent, just not the lens.)
