    • Great lens...Easy to adjust with the Tap-in utility if you need to.
Lens works great on my Canon 5D MK IV.... I did make some "fine" adjustments on focus using a ruler @ 45 deg. to the camera. Very minor, +/- 1 on a few focal lengths. Without the sight box and ruler, you wouldn't see it with the naked eye in the photos. Software is simple and straight forward....Warranty registration web site is a little weird. You have to PDF them your receipt after you register the serial number....Whatever. Lens is heavy...its a 2.8, so about normal for this build of lens. Included Click-lock hood is great. Focus is fast and quiet, not canon STM quiet, but very close. Low light focus ability seems to match canon glass. The only improvement would be to be able to set the zoom lock at the prime focal lengths, 35, 50, 70....as of now it only locks in the 24mm position....just a personal preference...the zoom stays where you put it and is nicely dampened as is. Intend to buy the Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 next, based on how happy I am with this lens. ... show more

This lens has been a workhorse for me. The autofocus is wonky compared to the Canon, and honestly the peripheries look awful at just about any aperture (the distortion is unsightly, let alone the softness and heavy vignette), but I wouldn't trade the image stabilization for the world (especially for video), and the center sharpness bests several of my L series lenses. It's a go-to for a great price, and I've gotten several years and thousands of proud images out of mine. ... show more

Wow ! This lens is just so good. The Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 is almost identical in image quality than that of the Canon version, but at a much lower price. PLUS, this gives you image stabilization. A little heavy, but itโ€™s because itโ€™s made of quality materials and glass that you can feel confident about. If youโ€™re struggling between the two lenses, I can assure you that this lens is the better choice. It is now my go-to lens for my Canon 77D. To top off the deal, you will receive a couple of other items that, although might not be of great quality, can be useful in your photography. Well worth the money. ... show more

    • Great lens and some good extra items for the same price
the bundle is great, you get a good memory card (depending on the use you want to give), for me, it works very well on photography and I am using with a canon 5d mark iv. The lens is very sharp, the backpack is very good for a camare and a couple of short lenses like the one in the bundle. The fabric tissue is ok, as well as the air pump. The filter seems to work well which is surprising (cheap filters tends to reduce sharpness dramatically and I haven't notice that much reduction with this one, it actually works very well so far). The monopod is for a very light equipment, not for serious use. The lens pouch is very nice (althought the lens itself has its own pouch, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra one for another lens, etc). If you consider this bundle has the same or almost the same price as the lens alone, it is a no brainer decision ... show more

    • Not crispy, even after calibration.
As a person that has done tons of research online between the differences between the Canon 24 -70, and the Tamron competitor lens, I have come to the conclusion that cutting corners is not worth it! The photos I shot with this lens, never truly hit focus. It got really close, and the images looked wonderful on the small canon monitor, which was misleading. After reviewing them later in my lightroom, I discovered that they were all off focus, even the ones that I thought were dead on in camera. I then used the Tap-in console that was included, which turned out to be difficult, time consuming, and never produced full results, because even at the most "focused points" this lens was not in focus. The tap-in console is merely for shifting that focus, but a lens that is has no true focal point, will not be able to be adjusted. My $130 24mm stm 2.8 out performed this lens 10x over, and its 1/10th the price. Consider sticking to prime, or go canon if you are using this lens for professional work. ... show more

I got this bundle for at least $100 cheaper than adorama or b&h for just the lens. I admit that I was scared to order a lens through amazon, but the lens was perfect and I thought why not? I have used the lens already for a shoot, and the extra bundle options are just nice to have.

Buying a Tamron 24-70 Lens was exciting and is my go to lens for shooting beautiful photos. This was the highest quality bundle I've recieved and cant believe all the goodies that came by Altura. enjoying every item and feel like a rockstar!

So far so good. Only got to shoot a few pics with it to test it out and it is very clear. Didn't get to take any of the kids yet which is kinda why I bought it so time will tell. Great value, great lens.
