Features

  • Flat-field clear Infinity-corrected optical system. The four wide-band and fully multi-coating Infinity Plan objectives provide high contrast and flat image, combined with interchangeable wide-field 10X and 25X glass eyepieces to offer six magnification levels 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, 1000X, and 2500X.
  • Ergonomic and user-friendly design reduces strain on the user. The Siedentopf head, easily adjustable for different interpupillary distances without losing focus, is 30-degree tilted to reduce neck strain. The focus knobs are positioned low to ensure that the hands can rest on the desk while using the microscope. The carrying handle, power adapter compartment, and power cord hanger are all integrated into the microscope stand for easy microscope transport and better storage of parts.
  • Highly energy efficient and LED illumination has a low power consumption and is compatible with a Type-C plug from a portable charger making this microscope absolutely portable. The auto power off function ensures that the battery is not drained inadvertently.
  • The built-in "quick start guide" system assists the user to find the focus point easily and also to adjust the right aperture diaphragm for perfect specimen illumination. A great image can easily be acquired, even for a new user for microscopes.
  • This microscope is covered by an industry-leading 8-year warranty for mechanical parts. Further instruction videos and manuals can be instantly accessed by simply scanning of the QR code on microscope.

  • Decent Scope
Size: Stellar T
I have some minor issues, which I mention below, but I won't knock off any stars since I'm ignorant about microscopes in general. I'm just using this one for looking at soil, and so far it has been really nice to use. I like the overall features of this microscope. There isn't anything that obviously sticks out to me as being poorly made. The eye relief is enough that I can use the 10x eyepieces while wearing glasses. I have a somewhat severe astigmatism, so it's really nice to be able to use glasses with this scope. I've used both my readers and my daily-wear progressive lenses and both work fine. The field of view is obviously restricted a bit with glasses (maybe 50%?), but it is certainly useable, and definitely convenient. I imagine it's pretty easy to scratch the glasses if not being careful about approaching the eyepieces. I feel like I should knock a star off because my stage has a sticky spot in the gearing that is highly annoying when lowering it, but that seems to be going away with some use, and it's much lower than where I typically focus anyway, so it's not a big deal to me. I can't figure out how to disable the LED auto-off feature, even though that is a nice feature, it should be optional. I can't seem to find the optional reflection mirror for lighting instead of the LED that they mention in the manual. That would be nice to have. I did purchase a 20x objective to replace the 100x (which is not useful for looking at soil) and it works great and is parfocal with the existing objectives: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W7LWT6C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I wish they included or sold a camera adapter for DSLR cameras. It would be *very* simple to manufacture -- certainly no more complicated than the one they already include, just a lot shorter. I wasn't able to find one that didn't include corrective optics, which introduce aberrations, so I will have to make my own to avoid adding optics (and hence, corresponding optical aberration(s)). I purchased one without internal optics, but logically it isn't parfocal with the binocular eyepieces being used at the same time, so focus has to be adjusted between using one or the other. However, it does work on this microscope, in a pinch, with my Canon Rebel, but there is a ring-like visual artifact, presumably from internal reflection of the long tube: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QYZKSP8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ... show more

  • Good for entry level
Size: Stellar Pro-T
I would recommend this as an entry level microscope. Before you purchase this make sure you understand the disadvantages of a fixed condenser. Mine isn’t centered and since it is fixed in place there is no way to compensate except to open the diaphragm more, and that has its own disadvantages. I like this for a spare, or a grab and go type of scope because of its portability. The one other thing worth mentioning is I don’t find the light bright enough. I wish the LED was more than 1 watt. Edit: I ended up returning this and am much happier with the build quality of AmScope T670. ... show more

  • Great microscope, infinity lenses are very clear and focus sharply.
Size: Stellar Pro-T
This is my first good microscope. I had a small Tasco when I was 10 or so. That was 50+ years ago. This scope is very nice. The infinity lenses are very sharp and focus superbly. The stage adjustments are solid feeling when adjusted with no slop at all in the mechanism. The coarse and fine focus are the same. Both the head and turret rotate super smoothly, quality machining and assembly. The only thing that was wrong with mine was the diaphragm was slightly misaligned. I feel that this could be corrected with a little bit of tweaking, not too big of a deal. The scope still worked great in spite of this. Mine was shipped in a double box, cradled in molded styrofoam with plenty of plastic wrapping. Very nice job as far as packing goes. I love this thing, should last for many years. ... show more

  • Better than my college microscopes
Size: Stellar Pro-T
I am super serious about this when I say this is better than any microscope I have used. I was really expecting it to be just a little better than my cheap amscope but this is better than Olympus ones I used in college that were high dollar. The clarity of the objectives is like you're seeing in high definition. The construction is amazingly solid all metal except a few pieces where it doesn't matter or would be expected to be plastic. Only complaints are the thin ness to the base of it near the light could have better design it's too thin so it could be tipped over because it doesn't have perfect low center of gravity, and then the condenser could be wayyyy nicer but if works great. You can get near phase contrast and oblique illumination looks with the filter holder, I can literally see the insides of cells and bacteria and what they are doing in there it feels like you dive into their world!!! Absolutely don't go with anything cheaper than this. This microscope is solid and worth the extra 200-300 bucks. If I could I wouldn't have ever bought the one I had before and would just buy this. It is what you expect to see when you think of microscopy and cheaper scopes definitely could discourage when compared to this and the ones you use in school. You will be very happy you picked this one I'm completely in awe honestly. I will definitely be buying more swift products now!!!! ... show more

  • Great Microscope, sharp images
Size: Stellar Pro-T
As a beginner in microscopy, I recently purchased this microscope to monitor the bacteria in my mouth and ensure good dental hygiene. I am pleased to report that the microscope performs excellently in showing me various microscopic organisms, including harmful bacteria in my mouth. The image quality is consistently high and sharp across the entire viewing area. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and the effectiveness of the microscope in helping me monitor my dental health. ... show more

  • Not much of an upgrade from their previous top of the line
Size: Stellar Pro-T
The led is not bright enough and it’s super annoying that there’s not a way to turn off the auto shut off feature. I can’t just leave my camera to record. It’s also got the plan infinity objectives and tbh not really sure I’m happy with the cost value of the upgrade. Keeping it none the less because I broke my previous one. ... show more
