This hover board seemed like a good idea at the time and my grandson was thrilled to receive it for his 12th birthday. However, after about two months of riding it occasionally after school (mainly inside the house) the left wheel started freezing up while he was riding it, and throwing him off. It t
hen beeps incessantly and a dim red light on top of the board by the left footpad flashes until you turn it off. I sent it back to Swagtron as part of their 1yr warranty (they provided prepaid shipping label, and shipped it back at no cost). I received it back in the mail approx. 1 week later with no explanation of what they fixed or did to it. My grandson hopped on the board, rode it for about 5 minutes, and it did the same thing, again and again. I emailed Swagtron and they sent back instructions for "if the board is pulling to the left or right" and suggested I calibrate the board, and that it could have to be done again and again to finally fix the problem. Well, that is not the problem in the first place, and secondly STILL no explanation as to what they did to fix it! I had purchase a Square Trade Warranty with this as advertised when I bought it, well guess what... THEY DONT COVER HOVER BOARDS! Why they advertise the warranty when you purchase the board and then not cover it is beyond me. Sneaky marketing ploy. So, I am STILL in conversation with Swagtron as to getting it fixed, but seriously WHAT A HEADACHE!
