Pros: it really is AWD, the tires are very easily changed between the slick drift ones and the normal rubber ones. Very easy to use and shockingly easy to control. Car takes AA batteries (comes with 6 700mah NiCad rechargeable batteries) and the remote comes with a 9v battery so upgrading or replacing batteries won’t be hard at all. The body is removable for servicing/cleaning the car. Cons: BOTH steering AND throttle is toggle only. On or off, left or right. When drifting this isn’t bad but for rubber tires and racing it’s pretty annoying. Body clips are cheap plastic (but easily replaced with damn near anything) it doesn’t appear to be a very repairable car, if something breaks it looks like the whole thing is broken. ... show more

Initially, I wasn't expecting too much from this product especially when it came in and the language on the box and manual was all foreign (Chinese I think 🤔). So my expectation for it immediately fell lol but after charging the batteries, and taking it for a test run, this thing is FAST.     • Simple but not worth the cash paid
The battery doesn’t last long. This age range would be for a child younger than 10 because of the short lived entertainment. Nice car, easy to use, the remote style is simplified. Save the cash and put towards a better purchase if you are expecting more than this.

I had to return this unit. I have better than average knowledge and experienced with R/C cars and this one was a let down. I've had better experiences with $20 Maito R/C's from Toys R Us. Steering, throttle, and connection were spotty and not consistent.. This RC was faster than I expected but that was about the only thing this thing had going. This is my second bad purchase and return experience, I am never buying another non-licensed knockoffs again. There is no way this unit is worth any more than $20. Advice to shoppers: I'd stick with the name brands when it comes to RC Cars. ... show more
