abunda_amazon_reviews Please be advised that I contacted Amazon twice with this problem. Also I contacted Sony 4 times nothing being resolve. I bought this tv less than 2 month ago. I start having problems after 1 month. The remote control does not turns the tv on or off, the volume and the channels also do not work. I called my cable company and after trying setting and resetting I was told that the problem is not with the remote control but inside the television. I contacted Sony again, but they insisted to send me a new remote control. Today I received the new remote control but the problem remains the same. Sony technical support informed me today that I need to wait 3 more business days until they get back to me. I've been patently waiting for the past 3 weeks and Nothing been resolved. I bought this TV through Amazon and I want you to send me a new TV. I don't want the repairman from Sony to come and fix the tv that is less that 2 month old. Even in a light room the picture was excellent. The only issue was that it was a little small for the wall unit. I wanted a 70 inch to fill the space. I waited for the 830F to become available and purchased it about a month ago. Delivery was prompt, on time, and courteous. I was ready to be dazzled by this TV, but that is not the case. The picture just didn"t pop like the 750D. Long story short, I eventually got the 830F settings adjusted to where I am satisfied with it, but only when sitting directly in front of the screen. The picture deteriorates quickly when you move left or right of center. This was never an issue with the 750D. The room does not allow me to move furniture around. I moved the TV back in the cabinet to improve the angle but that defeats the purpose of the larger screen. A national consumer magazine just gave this TV high marks for viewing angle. I have to strongly disagree. I would suggest that you look at this TV in person before you buy and consider the viewing angles in your room. It may work great for your situation. Martin;;;I wanted to love this 60" Sony, but at the end of the day I could not get over the issues with the poor viewing angle which seemed to be worse than other LEDs and difficulty setting and holding color settings. Viewing straight on was fine, but the set is in a family room and not all seating is straight on in front of the TV. I've had plasma TV's for years, and admit I am spoiled with no viewing angle issues and the dynamic color range and deep blacks, so any LED I view has a tough baseline to meet. I could not get a consistent acceptable picture no matter how many calibration suggestions I found online were applied, or any variations on my own. I have a digital TV calibration DVD as well, and this did not do the trick. The biggest frustration was the channel to channel color variation (I use a digital antenna so my signal is uncompressed and should be the best quality). Neither my Samsung LED or my other plasma have this variation. I either have a bad TV or this is an inherent issue with this Sony model. I've always loved the Sony picture so I was really excited about this TV, but sadly I sent it back.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2018;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Sadly, had to send it back;;McPack;;;The TV that first was sent was defective and amazon sent a replacement ASAP.
