abunda_amazon_reviews I'm a little reluctant to award this table five stars, but I like it so well that I'm going all the way to five stars despite the big annoyance, as I will explain. First the good stuff: the table is nicely finished, excellent workmanship and defect-free, and looks beautiful. It's perfectly stable when in use, just heavy enough and light enough to move from place to place. All of that merits five stars. Now the annoyance: There are almost incomprehensible instructions, written in pseudo-English that give minimal clues as to how to assemble. It's a good thing my wife and I know what cams are, having assembled furniture like this before. But even so, we came within a millisecond of sending it back because we thought we couldn't do the assembly. We're thankful we stuck with it, but we wonder how many people will give up. Our strong recommendation to the manufacturer: get someone who can write instructions and prepare a good, step-by-step guide. I bought this in September. I tried assembling several times according to the manual as I understood it and gave up. I'm not the handyman type. In January my father-in-law came and I packaged it up to give it to him to try to assemble. I realized I was missing the assembly manual. I E-mailed the company in China asking for a PDF manual. Within a day I received a zip file with 2 videos of somebody putting it together at different angles. I also received several different pictures of every piece I should have plus the manual. The told me they will help me in anyway if that wasn't enough help. Excellent service. My father-in-law assembled the table for me.. The table is very nice and sturdy. The stain & finish is very nice.
