abunda_amazon_reviews I purchased these shoes for my husband and he loves them. His work involves essentially driving a delivery van and he is on his feet a lot, in and out of stores all day long. He is not a big fan of sneakers but prefers lighter weight slipon-style shoes; however, it has not been easy to find something in that style that provides cushion and support. Sketchers' Go-Walk series seemed like they might provide all of these attributes, but they had so many styles in their Go-Walk line, it was difficult to pick the shoe that might work best. I ended up choosing one of the more economical styles figuring if they didn't work for my husband, then we hadn't wasted too much expense-wise. At first they were not very comfortable and surprisingly needed a breaking in but after a couple of days, my husband said they are now one of the most comfortable shoes he ever remembers wearing and his feet still feel great at the end of the day. He always wears a "no show" sock with them but I think they would be easy to wear sockless. I was worried about their longevity because they are so light but the cushy footbed seems durable, as well as the sole. My husband hasn't had them long enough to know if the shoes will survive over the long haul, but we're pretty optimistic at this point. My decision to purchase this product is based on my own research. My opinions expressed here are completely my own and were not influenced, predjuiced, or coerced by any promise of a free product or discount of the purchase price from any outside source.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Walking on Sunshine;;Cnf860;;/gp/customer-reviews/R2WIRR314ANLKU/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00RHNXV04;;;I love the Skechers Go Walk with gogamat technology series. I bought these shoes a few months ago, but put them aside because they just didn't fit or feel right. As another reviewer mentioned, the sole of the shoe is stiffer and not as flexible as other go walk shoes. Also, the cushion at the heel is not as soft or as cushiony as the material in other Go Walk shoes. The pair I received also didn't have the gogamat footbed lining properly placed and every time I took a step, I could feel the border sharply pressing against the bottom of my foot. Now that I've starting decluttering the house, I've come across these shoes and have noticed some irregularities. The Gogamat sample that came with these shoes is unlike any other gogamat technology sample I've received with my other (numerous) Skechers shoes. For one, the cut is different. You can see it in th pictures I've attached. The counterfeit version, the one I'm commenting on, is in yellow. The original is in pink. Secondly, the gogamat itself is not as thick as the original and the texture, though similar, feels different both on top and on the bottom. The "gogamat technology" imprint is also not as crisp and well defined as the oriniginal. It has burry edges and is missing the signature "squish me" line that all gogamat technology samples have. Upon inspection of the shoe and in comparison to my other Skechers shoes, it is clear that these are counterfeit. I only broke them in for 1 day around the house too, so really no issues right out of the box. Wearing socks they fit true to size 10 1/2. I've had trouble with relatively flat arches in the past, but I wasn't experiencing such trouble before wearing these, and it hasn't come back since wearing these (for about two years). That said, I don't imagine the super-cushy insole material is ideal for people who regularly/currently require exceptional support. Not necessarily the manufacturer's intended use, so therefore I strongly recommend that you wear socks of some sort if you don't want the shoes to get dirty inside or eventually develop an odor. (They don't "breathe" as much as you'd expect, so therefore your feet may sweat more than you might expect.) It's not a problem if you wash them frequently and simply use a foot powder as necessary.
