This is a waste of my money.

These bar stools look beautiful in the picture and in the description but they are difficult to assemble, and when one assembles them strictly following instructions from manufacturers, there are still issues. I do not understand why some of the screws just do not fit. I had lot of difficulties assem
bling the stools and I got my older kids to help and they had issues too, I paid someone who is in this line of business and he had issues as well. The problems we encountered are some of the holes for the screws are worn out and there is nothing you can do when the screws just turn and turn and turn and turn. In general, the parts seem not to align properly. Some of the protective rubber on the legs of the stools were missing. I am not sure why but this is very frustrating. Too much trouble to assemble. Several pieces not properly manufactured.

PITA to assemble. Comes in very many pieces and they don’t all fit together properly. I have a lot of experience as a contractor assembling things so believe me on this. One leg was missing a welded bracket. Other steel parts did not come with properly drilled and threaded screw holes. Unable to comp
lete assembly. Only had enough functioning parts to assemble one barstool. Looks nice but is uncomfortable. The round wood seat has sharp square edge all around. Normally barstools would have the top edge rounded off for comfort. Returning it was also a PITA because repackaging all those little pieces was a project in itself. Too bad, I otherwise like the look of the stool and was hoping it would work. I’ve assembled other barstools that come largely assembled and can be put together in just a few minutes.

Easy to assemble. Great value.

I purchased a reduced priced version of this product. It was discounted approximately $110 because it was "missing some hardware and box damaged". The missing hardware was an adjustable leveling foot for one leg. No big deal. I bought 8 new ones for $10 and replaced all 8. I put the stools together m
yself. Directions say you need 2 people. You don't What you need is patience and to follow the directions. DON'T TIGHTEN ALL THE SCREWS UNTIL ALL THE PIECES ARE IN PLACE. This is crucial to get the holes to line up. I'm a 60 yr old grandma and had both stools assembled within an hour. They are smaller than I was expecting in terms of overall appearance, but the are exactly the same height as the counter stools I'm replacing. Dark brown color is rich and deep. It's a wooden seat, so comfort isn't what we were going for, just the country kitchen feel. Even at full price I'd recommend this product.

Not as difficult to assemble as I first thought

Easier to assemble than originally thought. The trick to attaching the first, inner loop is to attach it AS you attach the legs of the chair, NOT after all legs are attached. Also keep screws loose until all parts are in place. Got frustrated and initiated a return before I realized this because the
holes did not originally line up. Still a bit challenging to put together but I love the finally product!

Not only did I have to fight to make any of the legs fit, but one of the stools came without holes drilled into it. Amazon support was no help in solving the issue so now I'm stuck with 1 stool that is completely useless. It's a shame because they look amazing :(

Product was not easy to assemble. Lots of the parts did not meet up and we had to put in extra work/tools to make it “work”. Seats wobble when you sit on them. If it wasn’t such a pain to un-assemble after assembling we would return.

The assembly is difficult because the parts were not properly tooled - pieces did not fit together and some screws were difficult if not impossible to screw in. The barstools ar
e a hazard to your health because the screws will start falling out with regular use. My athletic significant other hurt her lag when the barstool collapse randomly during dinner. Thus, far I have purchased two different items from Ashley's furniture - in both instances they were unnecessarily difficult to put together and quickly fell apart after light usage. Run from this product while you can.

Great Counter Height Stools

These counter height stools were a lovely addition to our home. I looked everywhere to find a nice, wooden counter height stool that swivels in this price range. They look like they cost more than we spent. Assembly took some work, but the end result was worth it!
