3.0 out of 5 stars | Does the job for now, but would not recommend for a long term solution.
I bought this when I started working from home (hopefully temporarily) -- I use a standing desk at work that I love, and didn't want to break the bank in getting a similar setup at home during COVID-19, and this one generally had good reviews by comparison with others in my research. It looks nice enough at first, but I have 3 major issues with it: 1) Using a mouse is a pain. The way that the keyboard tray is inset at the back, it makes the space for using a mouse super limiting and uncomfortable. It's deep enough for my full ergonomic keyboard, and that is fine, but the natural placement of the mouse pad is right at the edge where it connects to the desk, and I am CONSTANTLY bumping into that edge and needing to lift + shift my hand to compensate, rather than being able to just move the mouse around normally (when Amazon allows uploading photos again, I will try attaching a photo to help explain this better). I have been having this issue both with my wireless standard mouse, as well as with my ergonomic wired mouse. 2) Much harder to lift that I expected. It is supposed to be assisted, but lifting it the first 2-3 inches is REALLY hard. After that it moves ok, but going from full sitting to any standing height is quite hard. I find that I have to be super careful and lift it really hard *straight up*, which can be difficult even when there's hardly anything on it. I am not a weak person, and this takes effort. The hardest part is that I find it slides around on my desk before it will actually give in and lift if I'm not careful about pulling it straight up -- if I pull slightly forward at all, the whole thing will just shift around on the desk rather than lifting. I have 2 monitors attached to the back with the clamp arm (the recommended one from the same company), and there is no way I'm going to detach that every time when I need to move the position. Even before I had those attached, it was hard to lift, though having the attached monitors does put it off balance enough that I think adds to the difficulty. By comparison, my work standing desk (similar concept, totally different brand/model), lifts SO easily it barely takes any effort even when it is PACKED down with stuff, and I even have those monitors just sitting on it with no fear of them falling over when I lift and lower it. This one, I'm glad I have them physically attached to the desk, because they would almost definitely topple over every time. 3) It's too tall at sitting height. Caveat: This issue might be particularly bad with the combo of my particular desk + this riser, so may not be an issue for others, but it has been really annoying. I have this sitting on top of a fairly standard height desk, and the keyboard tray sits high enough now that it's pretty uncomfortable for a sitting position, and that was even with a regular keyboard, but definitely worsened with my ergonomic keyboard since that's elevated slightly too. I needed to actually get an extra booster pad for my chair to attempt to compensate for the additional height so that I wouldn’t have T-rex arms while typing since my chair was already at full height. I'm 5'7, so I'm not someone who would usually need any sort of height booster. This might not be an issue for other desks/people like I said, but it has certainly been a notable point of frustration for me. If I am being completely honest, I really regret buying this thing at all and wish I could return it. I just have no idea how I'd even go about returning it since I don't have the box anymore (recycled it since it was huge and taking up a ton of space) and would have to figure out how to get it shipped?? Too bad for me, live & learn I guess, but maybe this can help someone else.

3.0 out of 5 stars | BEWARE - other reviews are not for this stand and keyboard tray does NOT move
I would love this standing desk IF the keyboard tray were adjustable. I read other reviews and thought it sounded great and fully adjustable, but after it arrived, I learned that the only "adjustment" you can make to the tray is to take it off. It sticks out at least " in front of the desk and cannot be slid in or out or raised up or down or tilted for your comfort EXCEPT with the entire desk. The desk is roomy and sturdy, but not being able to move the keyboard pretty much defeats the purpose of having an adjustable desk for your comfort. Overall, it is okay, but not great. Need to redesign the keyboard tray before I would give it 5 stars. If you carefully read the other reviews that have been lumped in with ones for this standing desk, they are for a laptop tray desk and falsely give the impression these desks have received 4.5 stars over thousands of reviews. That is simply untrue and very misleading. If you need to be able to adjust your keyboard, especially slide it out of your way, this is not the desk for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars | I like it.
I like it enough to have purchased another for my home office. You already know from a previous review or two that this is a fairly heavy unit and that's ok...very stable. Bilateral hernia surgeries are a bit expensive, so you might take seriously the recommendation to get someone to help you in putting it on your desk. Or do what I do....and have someone else do it for you. Also, be aware that if and when you put two widescreen monitors on this puppy, it will not be as easy to raise as it appears in the video. It does the job. A word of caution about any standing desk units, be sure that your monitor and accessory cables are long enough before raising them. Just sayin'.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Sturdy construction and easy assembly
I ordered this desk 2 days ago and it arrived last night. It was not supposed to even be here for another 2 days. The desk was very well packed in foam and a plastic bag. No scratches. Assembly was pretty easy. Only complaint is that the front 2 tie wraps were a bit difficult to cut (they hold the desk in the lowered position for shipping). Once assembled I loaded up my 2 displays (1 normal and the other a large 4K screen). It raises and lowers really easy. When I purchased I was a bit worried about the quality for such a low price. At my work I have been using a Vari-Desk stand up desk for a few years now. It is pretty similar to this AirLift desk but costs a lot more ($300). I think that the controls on the AirLift desk are also easier for raising/lowering the desk compared to my Vari-Desk that I have at work. I would highly recommend this desk for anyone that likes to work remotely from home.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Great for my neck and posture. Worth every penny!
Hate sitting at my desk all day, so this standing desk has been a dream. Really easy to assemble with clearly written instructions. It’s sturdy, but that makes it a bit heavy too. Tip to have someone help assemble if 50 lbs is too heavy for you to lift. I got the white color and it looks extremely clean on my desk. Fits my laptop, laptop stand and monitor with plenty of room left for notebooks, phones, etc. Adjusting the table is so simple and you have the ability to lock it at the height that’s perfect for you. With previous standing desks I used, I could only lock it in at their pre-set heights which wasn’t ideal for me. This airlift standing desk let’s me adjust to it to any height I want, so I can view my computer screens at my exact eye-level which is great for my neck and posture. Worth every penny!

1.0 out of 5 stars | Stuck in a mid position
I love this desk! The size, finish and overall concept is great - HOWEVER - after a very short time (few weeks) the desk is stuck in a mid position and will not move up or down. It is to high to use sitting and too short to use standing. The height adjustment is stuck - very disappointing. Now, it seems, I need to pay to send it back - the unit is very heavy. Tried to contact customer service both via phone and email with no luck.
