We live in a place that frequently has 50+ mph winds. We used ratchet straps to hold it down, but overall it has held up shockingly well through the summer. The instructions were a little confusing but overall we recommend this.

    • Horrible assembly!! Will not fit well/poor instructions
So it seemed like a nice buy. We didn’t put it together right away, because I bought it planning on putting together in the Fall. So here we are in the Fall: my mistake, it’s obviously now past the return time. So here’s the positives: good size, you can stand inside comfortably if you’re under 6 feet (I’m 5’3”) and will probably fit quite a few plants in it. It would be cute if it weren’t for all the issues with putting it together, and I have no clue how it’ll do over winter, but I have a feeling it won’t make it through. All parts in it, arrived pretty quickly. So here goes, the cons: Two days into assembly, not done yet, cause we stopped each time after a couple of hours to keep us from punching a hole into it out of frustration. Instruction booklet tells you to put together certain parts and insert some bolts in, but fails to tell you that a few pages ahead, you’ll be instructed to place an extra bolt in the same groove, which means you now have to take apart to slide it in place. The worse of it is the clear panels DO NOT slide in through the grooves. Took my husband and I a lot of efforts to put some panels in, with him pushing one end while I held onto the frame, still to no avail. Used WD40 but that helps little. They will bend or not go in straight. As you try to fit one panel on one side, the other side will come apart. Panels may go in almost through then get stuck, and there’ll be no way backward. In the process one of the very flimsy ground frame parts bent slightly. To make matters worse, unless you set this up on an exactly flat AND LEVELED surface, parts will keep on not lining up. This is ideally supposed to be placed in your yard, so I’d ask who has a perfectly leveled ground on their lawn, please let me know cause that’s near impossible to achieve. I think unless you will anchor it, a bit of wind will pick it up easy. So we will have (provided that we get this finished up & put together before I get frustrated and throw it out) to figure out a way to hold it down with weights or sand, as we aren’t planning on putting it on the grass at this point (it’ll just have to sit on my back porch over the brick patio, which is also not very leveled because of how it was built at a slant). I have no idea how stakes would steady it to get through winter, which here in WA includes snow, lots of rain and wind. It will need a heater in it for sure, cause I don’t see this holding temperature on its own. Once/if we finish with set up I may upload a couple of photos to show. In the meanwhile, DO NOT BUY THIS it is not easy assembly. You’d be better off using your camping tent, which as it stands right now I’m now seriously considering doing myself. ... show more

All the parts and pieces arrived in great condition. The paint job of the frame material is outstanding. Some of the assembly instructions are a bit vague but the video really helps. I’m impressed with all the added cross bracing and the thickness of the frameThank you for your email and your interest in customer satisfaction. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this greenhouse. I do have some suggestions to help future customers. I added 2”X8” pressure treated wood to act as a base and gain additional height. I leveled and squared the wood prior to assembly. As you can see I used the base assembly to attach the base to the wood. I drove wood stakes into the ground to anchor the wood and greenhouse firmly. I preassembled the gable ends and sides including installing the polycarbonate panels in my garage to minimize the chance of loosing parts and to have a smooth flat surface on which to work. I also built and installed the door onto the gable (very easy) and prebuilt the 2 vent assemblies. Time for pre-assembly working alone was 6 hours total. This included unboxing and identifying all parts. Your labeling and packaging is outstanding. Below are my observations after completing the assembly of the greenhouse; The gable assembly is tricky. more details on installing would be helpful. When installing the RG04 L & R steps 6 & 7 on page 13 the detail of passing the bolt through the hole first and then slipping the bolt head into the channel of the RG30L & R. the same is true when installing the connecting pieces BJ05. This is also true in a number of other assemblies. Installing the vent assemblies Page 22 step 6 is very unclear. A photo and description of the process saying that the vent assemblies slide in from the ends of the RO183 would be helpful. The roof panels P08 would be better if 1/2” longer to get a better overlap of the gutters and be tighter to the top ridge RO183. The R03’s also appear a bit short. I’m going to push them tight to the ridge RO138 and then push in the sides to see if that will solve the P08 length issue. On page 23 the I’m concerned the screws and washer will compress the polycarbonate panels. I am considering adding a spacer to reduce the compression of the P08 and the SGO383/384. Assembly time working alone was 10 hours this included building, squaring , leveling and driving stakes into the ground for the wood bass. My wife assisted for 3 hours . Total time was 19 man-hours. The dog was also a big help Am I happy I selected your greenhouse kit ? Absolutely.     • A bit tedious to construct, but worth it!

We were pleased with this small greenhouse when it was finished. Its construction took a bit of perseverance but we love the results! We constructed each side individually in our living room (we did have to move a little furniture to make space). We discovered that a couple of important screws were missing probably because we used them in the wrong places. The company was very accommodating and quickly sent us another box of hardware. Then we assembled the four sides outside and attached it to the base which was already attached to our foundation wood. We dug a trench for a foundation which was made of pressure-treated wood. Then we drilled holes and inserted 24" rebar through the wood and into the ground making sure that the foundation was perfectly level and square. We noticed that there was some movement in the frame of the greenhouse BEFORE we attached it to the foundation. After attaching to the foundation, this greenhouse was firm and secure! I stood inside it during a windstorm when we got gusts of 40-mile-an-hour wind gusts and there was no movement! Our greenhouse was ready for use around the first of April, just in time to move our seedlings in to finish out the cold weather of early spring. Overall, we were pleased! ... show more
