Great Machine.... Installed in my house (even though they said not for a residential setup.) Started producing ice within 20 minutes. Added a filtration system for another $125.00. Figured it was worth it since the machine cost a lot. This should eliminate my kids using all the ice in the house. Over a year and half later and the machine is still operating as it was when I first turned it on. Works Great! ... show more

Awesome machine. Do yourself a favor and have a pro install it not some plumber. It's worth the extra cash and Burkett restaurant supplies had awesome customer service. Call Mike he is really helpful if an issue arises.

This machine worked well until it quit and service was needed. This is used in a commercial environment and is relied on daily. First off when it quit, it took 3 weeks to get parts. Why they weren't shipped from Scotsman to my business is beyond me. Once it was repaired, it didn't produce ice the way it did previously. Sometimes it takes over an hour to make one block of ice and it should be 25 minutes. After several calls to Scotsman, and all they do is tell you to call their "authorized repair agent", and they tell you they won't work on Scotsman products. I think there may be an issue here? If you get one and it works through the entire warranty, you may be ok with this unit. If you need warranty service, good luck. My next machine will NOT be a Scotsman. I did't purchase this on Amazon but from a restaurant supply company. They can't get anything done about it either. ... show more
