The picture is great and we adjusted to the thinner sounding speakers. The issue is that, when used with a Playstation 5, the TV goes says it's "unsupported" and we lose picture. The thing we've attributed this to ia the different games and video streaming services bouncing having different resolutions and the TV not keeping up with the changes. After enabling HDMI 2.0 on the TV, it keeps up a little better but still does do it sometimes. You have to turn the TV off, change inputs or otherwise get it to reset.     • Sceptre 50" Non-Smart TV
I don't like those smart TV's. Don't use most of the things they offer and it costs too much. This TV is really nice and has a beautiful picture. Was very easy set up and I hooked up my fire stick to it and all is well. No complaints. Very good TV for the price. Would recommend this to anyone.

I didn’t want a smart tv, and for under $300, I couldn’t pass it up especially since it’s 4k UHD. I bought 2, they shipped from the west coast to the Midwest in about a week. They arrived undamaged from a 3rd party vendor. I initially had an issue with one arriving with a dead pixel, it’s pretty small and decided against the hassle of returning it, especially for the money. Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The only real quality issue I’ve noticed is the “Sceptre” badge is crooked on both and are ready to come off. But overall I definitely would purchase more of them if they are available. ... show more

This was a purchase for my son, a gamer. The price was way better than better known brands with smaller screen sizes. The picture bid magnificent, using a 4k fire stick to watch 4k content. But for the price there must be something limiting. Right? That would be in the sound department. The sound is terrible. But a sound bar cleared that problem right up. It's good for price. A couple things to be said... -The picture is fine nothing amazing. -The sound However is pretty junky, I've tried messing with the sound settings nothing really works. Maybe a soundboard will help it once I can afford to get one but can't quite say cause I don't have one. I will say it's a nice TV if you are looking for something to hold you over until you can afford the nice things, it's not like the sound is unbearable and it's big and has quite decent picture, so overall I'm pleased I'm only giving it a 3 star just cause the sound is pretty weird and not great. So far so good. We've only had it for a day. The picture is great, but if we hadn't already had a sound bar, we'd be sending it back. We thought our $200 LG tv had bad sound, but this is terribad. It's really lightweight, which is nice since both of us are weaklings. That probably accounts for the bad sound. Overall, good purchase. If you have a sound bar or surround sound and are looking for a dumb tv, I'd go for it. If you're going to depend on the tv for sound that isn't muffled, it's a no-go. ... show more

    • We were watching our HULU and all of a sudden we have no sound. The TV is only a month old.
When watching HULU all of sudden we have no sound. Turned it back to TV and still no sound. We have had trouble with this TV since we got it. Had to call technical support to help us finish setting it up. Only have had it set up for 5 days. Now we have no sound. I was told this was a good TV. Now I am starting to think different.
