If you want to do light striking with take-downs and/or trapping, these gloves are pretty much perfect. They are basically MMA gloves with a bit more padding on the knuckles. They are NOT good for bag or pad work though. The finger ringlets will jam against the webbing of your fingers in a very uncomfortable way if you hit the bag with them. I’ve bought a few set of gloves from sanabul, boxing and these MMA gloves. Have never had a single problem, which is great regarding the price. Sturdy, breaks in good, great padding that doesn’t interfere with grappling. 10/10 recommend
