abunda_amazon_reviews After 3 years I noticed that our Samsung (Model # RA25H5111SR) fridge was becoming distinctly warmer. How I love the smell of decomposing food!!! (Not). Finally we got a Samsung trained repair guy to come out. Actually he came twice. After many hours he determined our Samsung fridge was UNREPAIRABLE. When I called Samsung customer service I was told there was "nothing" they could do and that I should have gotten the 5 year warranty. Clearly, Samsung has found a winning business model: Make fridges designed to break down after the 1 year warranty expires ( yet look good to attract customers) and unless s/he pays an additional $200-300 for an extended warranty (yet another revenue stream) when the fridge breaks down in 2-3 years -- make the customer purchase new one. Ingenious! What a lovely contribution Samsung is making to landfills everywhere, while raiding the bank accounts of soon to be ex-customers. .;;Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2019;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Samsung's Throw Away Refrigerator;;Michele Sobota;;;Never buy a Samsung refrigerator, our's died in the middle of summer after a year of ownership.
