  • Better Than Expected
I wasn’t sure if this would be a fix so I went as cheap as I could and was pleasantly surprised. I was taking down about 50 feet of broken fence and had to put up something until we can do a proper replacement. It was super easy to put up by myself and has been standing strong for months now without needing any adjustments at all. I also bought garden staples for the bottom to help keep my dogs in the yard and it’s done the trick (no escapes or breaks yet). I wish the poles had holes for the zip ties but that’s a small thing. We’ll see how it handles a Vermont winter, but barring something crazy I already feel like I got my money’s worth. ... show more

  • Super easy to install
Lost our fence to Ian, this temp fence is awesome

  • good fence
This will keep critters in or critters out of an area. Its not a chain link fence but the price isnt either. I have it around my garden and certain areas to keep chickens and geese where I want them. It is super easy to install, and I cut it in the pieces I needed very effortlessly. It would work for a small dog. Its not pretty, but it does the job intended. ... show more

  • Easy to rip off
My 22 lbs dogs ripping it apart. Too easy to tear

  • Tears easily
I used this to keep dogs off a hill in our backyard. the first 60 ft of the fence was nice then as you unrolling toward the end it started to get mangled. after a couple of days with it zip tied noticed it had a small tear in some of the spaces toward the end. Over the next week or so it got bigger and bigger. Dogs had not been near it since it was raining. Easy to install, seemed sturdy enough but not as strong as you are led to believe ... show more

  • Great to keep my dogs off a body of water.
I bought 200 ft of fencing to keep my small dogs off a body of water (Including other animals as well) during the winter time. Things to note: These poles are hollow so I recommend the below. Installation 1. My soil is clay (hard) and it was about freezing temperatures when I installed them 2. Have 2 people install these, 3 if you want to go faster 3. I weaved the pole through the openings 4. I used a hammer and a towel on the pole to strike it in. 5. Strike gap should be about 6 inches max to avoid too much force 6. Have someone hold the pole halfway down to reduce bending when hammer, if not you risk it breaking 7. I didn’t use the plastic ties as I didn’t see a need for my purpose as of now. 8. I drove the spikes in about 6-8 inches, anything less you risk them coming out due to heavy winds. 9. I wouldn’t use this for dogs greater than 25lbs because if you have a mischievous dog they can knock down the poles. You would have to invest in solid metal poles to prevent something like that most likely. 10. If your dogs like to dig you’ll probably want to fold the fence inwards(towards you) but this might not even help that scenario Overall for what I wanted it accomplished that, I don’t want animals running on a frozen body of water. I wouldn’t use something like this as an alternative to fence panels to keep a yard fenced in. I will be using this yearly so I didn’t go with the wood spike silt fence as the wood spikes may rot. ... show more

  • Works Exactly As I Had Hoped (Pet Retaining).
Currently using this as a fenced-in area of the yard for my cats until I get the Catios built. Super easy install, took maybe 30 min. one morning: a roughly 15' section between the back of the house and fence, and another 10' section between the another fence and front of the house. Only tools used were scissors (cut-to-length) and a rubber mallet for the stakes (oh, and gloves). The ground has been soft lately, so I've even formed a "swinging gate" that I tie with twist-ties instead of the zip ties (which can be undone with a very small jewelers screwdriver or thin knife tip) and just keep replanting in the same hole. This way I can move about the entire yard without going through the house. Have since also used it to block off a hole near the patio base to keep a high-nuisance groundhog out. I don't think it likes the way that it feels (see below). Once I get the frames of the Catios built, this stuff will be reused as the outer shells to keep my cats in and most other animals out. Hopefully squirrels and other smaller animals will be smart enough to keep out -which has been the case so far with the fenced-off area. Holes in the fence material are about 1.5" x 3", so probably won't stop young kittens. Full disclosure: my cats are timid and mostly indoor. Any more adventurous/big jumper cats might not be reigned in with this as a simple fence (ends up about 3-1/2 feet high after planting stakes). The feel of the plastic (definitely not an oil-like smoothness; kind of raspy feel to it, even though it's smooth-surfaced) kind of freaks my two cats out, and they've learned not to get close. ... show more

  • No Zip Ties included, Stakes are flimsy plastic
We installed it and then went to the hardware store to buy metal stakes. The included plastic stakes (metal ones are shown in the picture) won't keep even a small pet contained. Also, we had to separately buy zip ties (deceivingly shown in the picture). Considering the inflated prices this year, the price was ok, but, it would have been 5 stars if the stakes were metal and the zip ties were included. ... show more
