    • High quality gun safe for keeping kids safe
I was looking for (quite some time) a multi-gun lockbox. Unfortunately most are made to safeguard 1-2 guns, and I needed a lockbox for 4. This one seemed to fit the bill, so I took the plunge. Overall first impression is that this is a very clean and sharp looking device. There is plenty of room for my 4 Glock handguns as well as extra magazines (2 handguns and 2 magazines in each the top and bottom areas). The device was as easy to program as the manufacturer video showcases; took me 5 minutes to program new codes and 2 fingerprints. The fingerprint reader worked flawlessly after programming, as did the button combos. There is a fairly loud/audible sound when entering the combo, which i will need to research if there is an option to silence. The top cover forcefully swings open, but not to the point that it needs to be bolted down (no risk of flipping over). The bottom drawer auto-ejects about an inch, requiring you to manually pull the drawer fully open, which i actually prefer. Mine came (as expected) with 2 sets of fully functional back-up keys (one set for the top, and one set for the bottom drawer). *Make sure these are placed somewhere safe, as they would be needed if you forget the codes or the internally contained 4 AA batteries die. There is a USB backup that is supposed to allow for electronic access if the batteries die, but I haven't tested this feature yet. This USB backup is actually one of the main reasons I decided on this unit, as my last lockbox (Stack-On) would zap the batteries relatively quickly, and i would be forced to get out the back-up key in order regain access to the lockbox and change the batteries. notice I have been using the term "lockbox", which is intentional... this is NOT a "safe". While this lockbox seems very secure, I am sure there is a way to forcefully get into it if someone really wants to. BUT I did not buy this with the intention of it being completely impenetrable to a focused thief. My primary concern was having a safe/secure place that would keep my firearms away from my young children. I feel this lockbox will do that. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I will add that I purchased this on Black Friday for $159, which is $40 off of the currently marked price of $200. I think it is definitely worth what I paid.     • Safety with quick access.

I really only have good things to say about this pistol safe. I know that I will probably be using this for many years. Therefore, it's important to me that I can use keys, fingerprints, codes and if batteries are dead plug in USB C to power up panel. The safe itself is strong and sturdy. It has two storages areas which is great. The top area fits my old Desert Eagle 44 mag. FYI, fingerprints work well but I can always open this safe in 2 seconds everytime with the code. Unlike my larger safes this unit provides safety with quick and easy access. Update on using fingerprints. I have found that if I use my thumb for example and code it in from differnt angles such as right, center, left, high and low my success rate is 95 % plus. You have 20 codes so not big deal to do this. This also applies to my nightstand RPNB Gun Safe... Mounted Biometric Nightstand Handgun Safe ... opens really well. ... show more

    • Fingerprint reader finky sometimes, but the button combo and hard key backup is nice
So I've had this thing for a little while now. The fingerprint reader I would not bet my life on period. It works almost always. But "almost" is not good enough. I have re-registered my fingers multiple times and reset it as well. Sometimes it just wont take my finger. Honestly its not a deal breaker to me because I have the 4 number combo I can use which works 100% of the time. I also like that you can plug mini USB in as a power source. Solid construction. I've never trusted fingerprint reader safes before I had another and it died as well. In a life or death situation I rather punch in the code than sit there trying to get my finger to work. So I would bet my life on this safe based on the numeric keypad. Not so much the fingerprint reader. ... show more

    • Great safe
This is a great safe but there is no way to mount this into the floor or anything really. Directions are useless. There’s no way to get a screw or bolt through these holes and into the surface of anything. Please help?

    • Very easy to use and program fingerprint/codes, easy to resolve issues if they happen
The media could not be loaded. Great for smaller items, heavier than expected (which is good), I felt slightly cooler when the safe opens the way it does. I did have an issue with the top drawer not shutting properly after using it a few times. This required me to unscrew four small screws in order to access the plug inside the safe that controls the button functionality. RPNB Customer support helped me resolve the issue quickly and easily. All I had to do was unplug the wire and plug it back in again. Now it works great every time so I still do recommend this safe. ... show more

    • Bigger than I thought
So I read the comments prior to buying, and still was surprised how large it was. First thing I noticed was the large box it came in and was shocked at the safe. I could fit 2 small weapons on top and 4 mags, and ammo at the bottom part. Came with 2 sets of keys for the bottom and top. Also you need batteries to use the fingerprint option. ... show more

    • Lid doesn't function
The media could not be loaded. Lid does not open without hitting the top of it. Customer Service suggested that door was out of alignment. Sent video how to adjust. After four adjustment door still does open like it should. Unacceptable condition. Contacted customer service and they made it right.
