Received my phantom and put it thru the paces. Under normal usage it should be a tool that lasts. I like the ability to change blades according to what I am doing the most of. I did order the blade kit with the utility blade holder. This should work nice when I am slicing belting instead of torturing a nice blade. Update: 1 month in with this tool at my side daily.     • Good tool over all, a little bulky.
The bubbly shell of this this multi tool makes it feel like a toy when compared to my other ones, but don’t let that fool you. Where it sacrifices in look, it definitely repays its value in features, like I really dig the switch on one side that helps you access the smaller tools like the wire stripper, but it also doubles as a locking mechanism for those tools too so they don’t close while in use. I do think putting the scissors on the inside is a little annoying cus it’s an extra step or two to get the the tool I want. Also no bottle opener which is odd, but like I guess not every multi tool needs one, it’s just classic. I’m really excited about the changeable knife blades, but the blade shapes I want aren’t on Amazon yet. Bonus stuff, it came w a belt pouch and a star wrench for replacing the wire cutting blades on the inside of the pliers, and a set of back ups, so that’s nice ... show more

A little bigger than I expected but it is great. I many bought it because of the bigger scissors and was not disappointed. The chisel, knives, and scissor are very sharp out of package. It even has a lever assist for the the drivers and chisel. That makes it so much easier to get them out of the handle especially if you don't have nails. ... show more

Initial quality wise this thing stands up to any other brand out there. The quick changeout blade is cool, and there is almost zero play in anything. Would seem like this would be a 180 dollar product from leatherman. I have always said its worthless to have a multitool that doesnt have shears AND a wrench/knife/screwdrivers/whatever else. following that desire list, there really isnt anything out there but this tool that encorporates everything you really actually need without having to resort to other tools just to get simple jobs done!!! highly recommend. The blade quality is suprisingly good on this. I do like how the bladea are interchangeable, however, the locking mechanisms that keep it in place can loosen if you just keep it in your pocket like I do. I like the big scissors, but that takes up a lot of real estate. And its a chunkster, seems more heavy than most of similar size. Overall nice multitool. ... show more

    • Looks good but not a performance tool
I had have my eye on this tool for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. However, I had to return the tool after a few days in light use; it started to make 'gritty' noisy (as irritable as chalkboard screech) when opening the handles. Other than the plier and scissors, all other tools are not that useful at all. When opened, the joint (on the tools side, design flaw) and a lot of play and I don't think that won't be sustainable in long term use. The tool appears to be designed as a light duty tool (or perhaps a grownup's toy) in comparison to other multi-tools. It looks good at least but that's about it. ... show more

    • Incredibly sharp knives
Knives are the sharpest knives I have bought. Sharper than my Leatherman, Swiss Army, or gerber knives I own. Interchangible blades very cool, scissors are awesome. I have bought 3 of the additional blades, not all blades shown on Roxon website can be purchased yet. Saw seems to bind when I use it, my leatherman seems to cut easier. Bottle opener does not work, opening to small. Like that all tools lock. Bought the Phantasy also, which will work as a utility knife. Also bought my son the Storm to take to college and leave in his car. Great value. ... show more

EDIT: The screw that holds the knife blade and cover snapped off. Rendering the knife unusable. Head sheared off. Contacted seller and no response. I want a replacement, please!! Photos attached. You can see that tool is in fantastic shape. Super disappointed. I have a pair Swiss multi tool pliers. I love them, high quality, no rust, easy, and comfortable to use. However... I've been searching for a tool that covers my specific needs, mainly multitool pliers with a utility blade. In comes Roxon. - The interchangeable blade system works great.
