abunda_amazon_reviews Some girls like flowers and jewelry. I love computer modding and upgrading. So as part of my current passion project, I'm working on a nice sturdy low-profile E8400 Core 2 Duo with an LGA775 motherboard. I had just powered it up after being off a while when I heard this gawd-awful whirring noise and then it shut off. Turned out the stock CPU fan failed. So, I hopped onto Amazon and started looking for compatible replacement. I read a LOT of reviews here and other places, and finally settled on the Rockwell 80mm made specifically for low-profiles like mine. I was dreading the whole process. I can never get back the 60 minutes of my life when I had to last deal with my stock fan. I didn't swear that much when I was in labor! I silently prayed to the tech gods when I removed that #$%* Intel fan for the last time (took me 10 minutes just to wrestle it out). I then opened the Rockwell package and braced myself. I placed it over the 4 holes in the mother board... and pressed gently... and... and.. Wait... what... THAT'S IT?!!!! No cursing, no sweating, no drama. I then just followed the arrows to lock it in, attached the power source, and done. I closed the case, plugged in the machine (yeah, goes without saying you should do all this unplugged) and powered it up. I heard nothing. And that's exactly how it should be. Whisper quiet, and my machine has been running smooth ever since installation. Cheap, sturdy, easy installation, and works right the first time. What else do you want from a product?;;Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Easiest Upgrade EVER;;C. R. Jackson;;;For the money its not bad. Keep in mind its in a micro itx case as the inlet fan. Cpu temp before install would peak at 78c under heavy load (way higher then i am comfortable) and would idle around 46c on desktop. Now idle is 31c and heavy load is 54c with typical load being about 38c(streaming a movie or tv show) I have the fan controlled by the motherboard based on cpu temp with profile set to silent. The pump i used the 4 pin molex adaptor. The fan at idle is quiet but not silent. Under load its much louder then i want but is acceptable. The waterblock install was the worest i have installed yet. I have installed the corsair aio and i have built multiple "open loop" systems. I have installed many heatsinks as well and i would say installing this water block was on my top 3 of worst. Bottom line: Cools good enough for a lower TDP CPU. Fan can be a little loud when at max speed. Cpu block is more difficult to Install then some other AIOs or even some heatsinks. I like the rotating water fittings and low profile block. Its a basic no frills setup. If you need the low profile block and rotating fittings for a low wattage cpu then get this. If not then consider other options for similar price range. Update: going on 1 year of use and the computer is on nearly 24/7. The AIO is still working great. Noise level hasn't changed,no leaks, no rise in temps. I have blown the radatior out a few times and cleaned the fan of dust/fur. I wanted to get a CPU cooler that was compact for my h81m-e33 motherboard and had a black and red theme to match my setup. This worked for it. It has a copper hollow core as well and seem to work for my i5 4460. I just upgraded to an i7 4770, mounting system is very flimsy so it took several times before I was able to attach it to the motherboard. I also recommend to clean off their thermal paste and apply high quality paste (size of grain of rice). I have been monitoring my temps using openhardwaremonitor and so far my i7 4770 with this cooler is idling around 32-35c I want to say at load It was going around 55c or so and that is with it turboing to 3.8-3.9ghz. I would say if your running a i7 at stock other than an i7 4790k or i7 7700k, you would be fine. dropped it a star because of the mounting bracket being such a pain but otherwise seems to run pretty quiet and cool.

You get what you pay for. Cheap and worthless!
$16.00 for a CPU cooler that is worthless, cheap and easily cuts your flesh. Rosewill makes very good products. I just bought a mini-ATX case (Rosewill Micro-ATX Mini Tower Computer Case with Dual USB 3.0, Dual Fans and 12.5-Inch Card LINE-M Black) and it is perfect for the mission. Facts: The fins are cheap serrated and sharp aluminum, the heat pipes are in minimal contact with the CPU. The worst aspect is the retainer clips that are crimped on to the cheap aluminum block. It is impossible to attach with out cuts and bleeding. The fan is a joke. Sorry Rosewill, I am not impressed! Please do not purchase this item.
