    • Huge improvement over my old amp
Previously had a Skar 4x75w amp and it worked OK-ish, couldn't get very loud before it would overheat and cut out for several seconds. Got this so it would be more water resistant when offroading and this is SOO MUCH BETTER. Being 4x100w its obviously can go much louder but it also doesnt overheat and cutout. Might start getting tinnitus sooner than later Not a fan of the electrical plug which is quick connect. Doesnt connect into the amp very strong. For requiring 8ga wire, it BARLEY fit 8ga wire and had me questioning if it was in enough. Had the positive and ground right next to each other instead of having the Rem in the middle, so a fray of copper could easily arc since they hardly fit. doesn't have actual feet to mount to anything. looks more like a loop for a strap that you can use to screw to secure it. the RCA inputs are on plugs. this can be a pro or con. makes it bulkier but if you dont use the RCA you could remove them completly i do love the small size compared to a full size 4x100w amp i have in my other vehicle. fits well behind the seat in my standard cab truck where i can easily adjust it ... show more

Runs a little toasty but is fine with good ventilation, Only thing i would change is the small terminals (hard to fit 8 gauge power wire)

These amps sound great. I have them on Rockford M2 8s and 6.5s and it sounds amazing. No issues riding in the rain or the mud, they also hold up well under those conditions. When I go to wash my machine and use a light pressure washer to clean all the mud from behind the seat, speakers start distorting and amps start clipping. Seems like water gets into the amp and takes days to dry out. After it’s dry, things are back to normal. ... show more

Great amp and easy to install with the rockford install kit. Bluetooth make a very load sound when connects. Will call rockford to see if there is a fix for this.
