Probably the most important question on a winch is "does it work?" I have not hit the trails since installing it so its hard to say if I'm in love with it. So far, so good. I've unspooled and respooled it a couple of times to test the remotes and the corded control. Everything works great. It looks pretty good. Running the wires was pretty easy. There was just the right amount of wiring to run from the front bumper of a Wrangler JK to the battery (wasn't a tight stretch nor was there any to cut or spoil up). To actually mount the winch, it would have been nice to have a second person. It might've been my bumper, but lining up the bolts from under the bumper into the winch was extremely difficult to do alone. Just something to keep in mind. ... show more

I’m using this winch on my gin pole truck to lift heavier things and it does a great job so far. I’ve had it for a few months and I’ve picked up anything from logs to the front end of pickup trucks and engines, axles, whatever. Right out of box I could tell it was going to be great, very well built, easy to understand instructions, the 100 foot synthetic rope is a plus for me, the wireless remote operation is nice, free spooling lever easy to engage and disengage, When I first got it installed, I used it to pull a truck up my driveway that's at an incline and about 60ft it worked great no problem, I haven't used it on the trails for my own use yet, but I have used it a few times to help motorists out of being stranded in the desert, seems powerful I can't wait to try it out rock crawling, So far this is a great winch and would recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great winch. I use it a ton and haven’t had any issues. Remote doesn’t have any lag and it has super long range. Winch motor is strong and cable is solid. Great buy! 1 year edit: Taking 1 star off because the brushes in the motor seized up due to the seals on the winch motor leaking. Took it apart, freed up the brushes and sealed everything shut with permatex silicone. Works like new again. ... show more

Took a little work to retrofit this onto the mounting holes from the old winch. This thing pulled 1-ton trucks onto my trailer with no issues. Can’t speak to durability because I sold the trailer.

Bought last October, only used it one time before it quit working. Customer service told me to take it apart and then stopped responding. The whole motor was full of water.

Absolutely love this winch! I have used it 3 so far this winter pulling out a variety of vehicles from the snow conditions! Was a little worried as it’s a cheaper winch but the quality is fantastic and I expect many years of used to come. A few of my buddies are waiting to order after my great experience.
