abunda_amazon_reviews I’ve been teaching drones for over 2 years at the local tech club. I purchased a CoDrone to see how it might be used in our programs. I was throughly impressed. Out of the box, I had it up and running on a chrome book using Blockly within 1 minute. I didn’t even have to use the external blue tooth module that was include. I also tested it using Snap! and python. The python integration was one of the best I’ve seen. The CoDrone was the only drone I’ve found so far that exposes the sensor data the the user, which has been my issue with the parrot mambo and Ryze Tello. The only drawback seems to be that the IR receiver and transmitters used for “Battle Bots” does not seem to be included in the python libraries. Cool drone with a cool concept. I got this for my little cousin who’s 9 for his birthday and got started with him. The online instructions were pretty easy to follow. My cousin who had no coding experience before got the drone flying pretty quickly! The block programming they use seems pretty similar to Scratch, and we had fun making our drone do different things around his house. It seems pretty durable too since it seemed fine after we crashed it into the walls and different family members throughout the night. The only thing I wish was that it had a longer battery life.
