In regards to the mouse tracking I was satisfied but I have one major complaint. The “non slip” rubber backing isn’t non slip at all. I was constantly having to reposition the mat back to where it was. While I can easily fix this problem by putting double sided tape to it, I don’t want to do that. I’m strongly considering returning and just shelling out more money for the steel series qck prism xl. This had a very cool design with color, plus rgb and even bigger then my old one. Perfect buy, the rgb are good but I wish they were brighter. The rgb control is simple to use with just one button to press to change color. If you double tap the button on a solid color it changes the brightness but only 2 levels of brightness. I also wish it had an rgb mode that would kind of fade from the beginning of the mat to the other side while changing color instead if completely jumping colors. I was disappointed and returned the pad. It was a waste of my time because first, the lower edge was almost unlit super dim. Then it had strange hot spots in different areas of the map. If I am going to spend the extra money it only makes sense that the pad look evenly lit. Another thing, the picture is deceiving. It does not light in the manner shown. It appears to have to leds so it cannot show the different colors in the different areas the picture portrays. It combines 2 led colors at each of the ends of the switch. I have bought many several mouse pads and after a few days or weeks they start to fall apart. This pad has a good amount of padding, it feels well made. As a mouse pad alone, it does a great job. It's big enough to cover most of my desk and have no issues with it at all. The bonus part is that it has RGB lights that can be easily controlled with the attached controller on the top left. It has several different modes like flashing and different color options. This pad has a lot of pros. The only con I can think of is that the controller doesnt let you turn off the pad. So if you're powering it with a power strip that supports USB, you will have to disconnect it. If you plug it into your laptop or pc then it wont be an issue since it will power on and off with your pc.
