  • PERFECT!!
Color: Aegean Tide Style: Tandem
This was an amazing purchase. Although, at first, we were a little hesitant, this turned out to be an AMAZING purchase. It has the no-stress inflate valves (or whatever they're called) where you don't have to remove the pump and try to close it super quick so the air doesn't get out. You can just add air with the valve closed. Everything was included (including the oars and pump). It went so smooth on the water and no leaks or anything. It even deflated quickly and was super easy to put away, which Is not very easy to do after a long day at the lake! Overall I'd definitely approve! ... show more

  • Easy to set up and take down.
Color: Wild Spruce Style: Tandem
I really like the convenience of this inflatable kayak. It’s very easy to set out and inflate with a manual pump. No more than 10 minutes of my time. Packing it up is just as easy. This takes such a small amount of space for transport and storage. I’ve only used it 4 times since I bought it but it gives the impression of quality and makes me think it will last many summers. It’s very stable when you’re in it on the water. I think my only complaint is that I would prefer it to be more rigid. It only inflates to 1.5 psi. You cannot stand up in while out on the water. But for the price this thing has been great! ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Color: Aegean Tide Style: Tandem
I have the tandem version. It worked great with my kid. Easy to haul with the backpack, plenty of extra space when packing it back up after use. Note that the floor tube can and should be removed when drying it out prior to storage. My only complaint is the seat backs don’t feel tall enough. I am 6’1” tall and could have used a little more support. ... show more

  • Great kayak
Color: Aegean Tide Style: Single
If you're debating between a cheaper inflatable kayak and these ones, buy this one! We spent a week camping and kayaking with them and had no issues whatsoever. We did however see others who purchased the cheaper inflatable kayak, the intex challenger, and while sitting in the kayak, it bent into a half moon on the water. Didnt seem very durable. These are super easy and fast to inflate, took less than 10min with the pump that is included. Very easy to maneuver in the water. Only recommendation would be if you're using the paddles included, buy some grippers to attach so they don't slip around when wet. ... show more

  • Great kayak for slow paddles on lakes and rivers
Color: Aegean Tide Style: Tandem
I own another smaller inflatable. The Retrospec is superior! It is durable and all accessories and paddles are good quality. The seats are comfortable for my 5 or 6 hour paddles. Make sure your valves and lock rings are all tight before getting in the water.

  • GREAT KAYAK
Color: Sunglow Style: Single
Having kayaked for years with a hard sided kayak, it was time to go more portable and lighter weight. This little guy fits the bill, very sturdy, stable and easy to inflate and deflate. Am very happy with this purchase. A great product for the price.

  • I'M FLOATING OVER THIS!
Color: Aegean Tide Style: Tandem
Let me start with my one word review: great! For anyone who may be worried that this is a cheap product or that it’s toy-like, worry not. It's a serious inflatable boat that exhibits good materials, good engineering, and well thought out design. As befits a serious boat, it is not a small critter. The product web page lists it at twenty nine pounds. That may be true for the boat alone, but with all the accessories also in its storage backpack case, I weighed the ensemble at 46 pounds on a luggage scale. I’m not saying it’s overly heavy—not at all. After all, it’s sized for two adults and gear. I just want people to understand the size and scale of this kayak. Once inflated, I would say its about twice as long as a pickup truck short bed. In practice the boat is not hard to set up. In fact, I found I can get it ready to go into the water, by myself, in fifteen or twenty minutes without pushing myself. Inflating all three flotation chambers with the supplied hand pump was just eight minutes. After your boating outing, I think it would be easier to take apart and stow with two people—but I wanted to see if I could do it by myself and I could. No real problems. And I’m glad that the storage bag is generously sized, so the folded boat fits right in without stuffing or compressing. A couple of observations that may be helpful…. 1, with a boat like this it is natural to worry about punctures. It comes supplied with a repair kit, but it is pretty minimal: a tube with various colored patches to match the boat. There is also a small paper with instructions, but it doesn’t say much except to put the patch on and give it time (see photo). I was puzzled by this though, because they don’t seem to be self-adhesive patches. I also looked at the instruction manual, which is generally pretty good, and it mentions using adhesive to attach patches (see photo). That sounds right, but no adhesive was supplied. 2, the manual says to put the larger stabilizing fin in the middle. But on my boat, all three fins are the same size. 3, the pump has a direction for deflating the boat too. You need to make sure you use the inflation direction, but you do not need to pump out the air. Just fully open the valve. 4, on my pump, the pressure reading on the gauge tended to go down after a few seconds of inactivity. I’m not sure why, but one needs to bear this in mind. I think it has to do with the pump, not the boat. But these are pretty small points. So far I really don’t have anything negative to say. This kayak is a marvel. You can have a lot of fun with it, and I think its a good value. ... show more
