abunda_amazon_reviews First model ran eight hours then burned out its load circuit (amps never more than 8.3). Returned to Amazon, but can't get acknowledgement of receipt (they're going to hit my bank account for another $90). First The battery state of charge indicator is based on battery voltage instead of current removed and charge to the battery. I like the data logging aspect of this controller but the Renogy "Solar station" software that you download from their site to be able access the data on the controller is a bit frustrating to get setup. The directions/setup are not very straightforward. I had to watch some guy's youtube video and eventually was able to get it to work. You can also connect using the optional bluetooth module and from the pics it looks a little more user friendly as you can access it from your phone. So maybe it's worth spending the extra $40 and going that route.... I'm just using a PC with the USB connection cable that was included - but again the PC software was a hassle to setup and get working.

Load side of the unit doesn't work.
I'm not one to leave reviews very often but I thought I would agree with the other reviews for this product. The unit charges my 200ah battery bank great but the 12v load side is too sensitive and goes into error mode from simply plugging in a 12 cigarette lighter plug for my ARB refrigerator. I have managed to get it to work once but as soon as the ARB compressor stops and tries to turn back on later it shuts down and throws an error. It's only pulling 4-5 amps on 12g wire.
