    • Poorly made, sudden volume 'attack', plus the dome broke off while in ear. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
The first day my husband wore these he got a sudden blast of sound out of nowhere that made his ears ring. (He hadn't touched the control or adjusted it after he'd put it in and after about 5minutes the volume went berserk. We estimated it at over 110 db!!!) Even I heard the blast and I was 15' away from him! Then, when he went to remove the hearing aid he realized the dome hadn't come out of his ear. We couldn't see it but his ear hurt constantly after that until he could get into the Urgent Care nearby to have it t removed by the doctor. He's been wearing hearing aids for over 5years and not once has he had a problem with the volume control taking off like that nor had a dome disengage from the wire while in use. Both of us were totally disappointed in this product and urge anyone in need of a hearing aid to try another brand. ... show more

We purchased these for my 93 year old grandmother in the nursing home - They are so easy for her to place back in the charger at night (almost click in with a magnet feel) - The volume is easy to adjust as well. I also have hearing problems and tried them out for myself, and felt like they worked good. These do not work like a regular hearing aid, but I think they are a great alternative and a reasonable price. Overall very happy with purchase. ... show more
