abunda_amazon_reviews Of course I was curious how the device felt. A tool has to be stable and it has to feel good in the hand. Both conditions are met by the stabilizer, which even exceeded my expectations. When I mounted my camera (Sony Alpha 7S) with my favourite lens (24-70mm G Series), however, the bad awakening came: Since the lens is quite heavy, I pushed the carriage all the way back. But that wasn't enough to balance the front-heavy system. With the other, lighter lenses, however, there were no problems at all. But of course I wanted to use the system with my favourite lens! So what to do? The solution was relatively simple: The base plate is screwed to the central rod by a hexagon nut. I loosened it and turned the base plate 90 degrees. This meant that the carriage, which was previously intended for forward/backward sliding, was now responsible for the left/right balance. Accordingly, the camera plate, which was previously responsible for the left/right balance, could now be pushed back so far that the entire system can now be perfectly balanced. I lifted the camera by a little more than a millimeter with an appropriately large washer and a rubber layer to prevent the lens from resting on the camera plate. That's it. Problem solved. Solid Unit, great item!
This is my first camera stabilizer, and I did not know it could improve the stability of the video that much. I am using it when recording with my DSLR. It takes some adjustment to get the whole thing to be aligned, using the two top levels on the top or by moving the two balance weights at the bottom. The stabilizer feels very solid and good quality, since it is all metallic. Overall, I love how much smoother the videos are. Because my DSLR is heavy, the camera has some slow "swing" effect whenever I turn, and it takes some time for it to become stable again. I think with a lighter camera (like an action camera) this might not happen, but if you plan to use a DSLR as well, you will probably experience this in your videos. The only drawback is that the whole setup is pretty heavy, so after a few minutes of recording, my hand gets pretty tired!

Outstanding customer/product support and service. They exceeded all my expectations.
I purchased a Raleno camera stabilizer which I was very happy with. I lost the track that attaches to the camera during one of my shoots. I contacted Raleno Support to see if the had that part only that I could purchase instead of having to purchase a whole new stabilizer. They responded quickly with pictures of two parts so that I could identify the part I needed and offered to send me a replacement part. I was very impressed with this company for their quick response and for solving my problem. I would confidently purchase products from them in the future and highly recommend them to everyone.
