Ok, I am not sure if the reviews that gave it 5 stars where gifted there's for a review but I'm honestly scratching my head as to why anyone would give this 5 stars?? First off it is small. And that's ok as they say it's small. But just be prepared for SMALL. I filled it with water and it immediately dribbled out the bottom. When you put the water in btw if you tip it ever so slightly in any direction the water falls out as there is no chamber container that holds the water in. (See pictures) and where it says to put ice in is a joke. you have to chop your ice into little pieces the size of your finger nails to fit it in. (Again see the size of ice container in pictures, plus that ice cube is small. It is smaller than the regular size ice cube tray) So the water falls out everywhere and it can't hold regular size ice cubes so really all you are left with is a tiny fan that unless you are less than a foot away from it you can even feel the air.... So, this is a big run for your life warning and dont make the same mistake as me and waste your money. ... show more

This is not worth even $5.00. The output of air goes about 4 inches from the machine. No matter how cold the water that you put in the reservoir it puts out little to no cold air. Do not waste your money!!!

It’s summer, and I got this portable AC to help make things a little more comfortable. I bought this for my teenage son’s desk so that we don’t have to use the house AC often. It did helped a lot to make the air more cool. The package was smaller than I expected. The box is thin with minimal branding. Inside the box is the portable AC, a plastic squeeze bottle, and a mini USB cable. I like the matte finish as it is not a fingerprint magnet. The build quality is ok, sturdy enough to withstand a few bumps. It’s very small and cute, I was skeptical at first if it has enough power to really cool a small space. It has no power adapter, but you can connect this to any USB port to power it up and charge the batteries. The batteries are good to have for total portability, but we’re using this mostly plugged on top of a desk. There are only 2 buttons for operations, it was a little confusing at first, but after reading the user manual, it is simple to operate. I was surprised how powerful this small fan is, it blows a lot of air for its size. The product has a small access door on the side to fill in the water compartment, but you can also slide out the entire back cover to separate the water compartment for refills. I prefer to do the later for easier and faster refills. It does blow a cool breeze when filled with water. On a hot day, it is very helpful to cool a small space like a workstation or desk space. My son also uses this while he sleeps beside his nightstand. Not the coolest, but you can definitely feel a big difference in comfort. Overall, it’s a great little product. Don’t expect this to cool an entire room, it’s meant to be used for small personal spaces. It doesn’t blow cold air, but a cool breeze enough to make you comfortable during hot days.     • Don't waste your time

This unit is big enough to fit in the palm of your hand so it lives up to its portability. Unfortunately, that is all. The actual air/wind output is so minimal that you could get more relief from a hand fan. There is no mist (which I wanted, but the water reservoir barley holds any water, let alone ice, and you don't feel the difference anyway. I almost bought three of these; I'm glad I didn't. I actually should return this unit but I got the teal color and it matches my room. The color and catching it on sale makes it not worth the effort to return. It won't be worth your time though. UPDATE: I'm returning it. NOTE: This unit was listed as number 11 or 12 on the Amazon top list of portable ac options. So, not trusting that list any longer. ... show more

    • Too small & prone to spills.

Bought this because I like it much cooler than my wife at night. The little fan works fine BUT, it doesn't hold enough water to last more than a few hours. The opening for ice is WAY too small for standard ice cubes. The water compartment is located at the bottom and is prone to spills. The previous machine I had (Air Cool Ultra), which I knocked over several times and broke was half the price and much better. It held 3Xs as much water, would hold a full tray of ice cubes, and since cubes and water went in through the top there was NO problem with spillage.     • I use it as a cooling fan for my electronics

I use it to cool down any and all of my electronics and it works great for that, but it cant cool down my room worth a damn. I have a very tiny room and its basically a closet. I fill it with literal ice water and i kept it filled as one should. It didnt work whatsoever. I bought a thermometer to test my theory. I made sure that my room was room temp and not hot nor cold. It was exactly 70 degrees in my room. I turned on the little fan and had it pointed into the center of my room to get maximum air flow. I put on a timer for 3 hours and it went down exactly 2 degrees. I turned on my actual mounted air conditioner and it took 20 minutes to get it down to 58 degrees. I bought this fan to lessen my power bill and to keep it colder in my room to work in conjunction with my real air conditioner. This fan has literally no impact on the coolness of my room, but it does work really well on my ps4, wifi router, and other electronics that i own ... show more
