Conceptually, a decent product, however two major flaws: 1) Very slow to connect, and proximity of just a foot or two is needed. A secondary purpose for this purchase was as a missing-cat tracker - the short range makes this completely not viable. 2) The rubber disk for holding it onto the collar is awful. It lasted less than two weeks before it was torn off (either by play-fight or self-scratching). Why this would be made out of cheap rubber instead of high density silicone is baffling. HOWEVER, the company did provide two additional holders upon request - so I'll mark this as a 3* instead of 2*, depending how long these new rings last. ... show more

This thing is awesome! It really has helped me and my little pup. He is slightly over weight and this devise allows me to know what he needs to do be it walking or sleeping. Its nice to know that your dog sleeps 14-15 hours a day and generally only exercises for 6. It certainly explains the weight. The app is also pretty cool.. You get to connect and compete with people who have the same app. Its literally like a fitbit for dogs. I give this four stars because i received a dead battery in my box, so i had to go out and purchase a battery. Other wise, it works great and i love it! I only used the rubber option that attaches to your dogs collar.. I did not use the plastic piece because i read the reviews on how it breaks easily. This is a fantastic product! ... show more

Very Nice Product! A Fitbit for Dogs! I have one for All 3 of My Dogs. Seems to work well but did return and replace one due to stopped working even with a Good Battery! Would have given 5 stars but Customer Support is Just Ok! 3/25/17 Update! Received My Replacement Unit and this one worked Great Again for 1 week and again stopped working! Still Waiting for Response from Customer Support! Another Update! Not Reliable at All! Very Disappointed in Accuracy! 2 out of 3 I Purchased Did Not Show any Activity Yesterday!     • Great as an activity tracker - not as a location device
The activity tracker is very easy to use - I had no issues pairing it with the app (on my phone). It's interesting data collected about my cat's sleeping and activity habits. It's small and fits well on my 11 1/2 pound tabby cat. It does track my cat's location - however, it's not specific enough or have a range far enough to actually find my cat if he's hiding (which was my purpose for purchasing). Overall, it's a nice product, but not if you are trying to find a hiding pet (i.e. it tells me his last location and the time - if he's not in range - which is short - I get no further information. If he is in range - it refreshes the time but not his actual location - he's still at home, but that's all I know). ... show more

Got this for my little chihuahua who is very active and made us wonder if he is eating enough for all the running, jumping and playing around he does all day. This tracker looked a little big on our 4 lbs chihuahua but its rounded design didn't bother him at all even when he's asleep. We downloaded the app onto our phone and started tracking our chihuahua's activities during the day, it showed us when he was most active or least active when we weren't home. And it showed the amount of calories he burned during the day compared to the portion of food he ate, I think I need to feed him more. It's an interesting little gadget for pet lovers. ... show more

I was really excited about this tracker, the size is great and it slides easily onto my dog’s collar. However, there is no app to download that goes along with it, which makes the tracker completely useless. I emailed the company prior to requesting a return and never got an answer. When they finally did accept my return, they required me to pay the postage, even though their product is defective and false advertised. Definitely recommend buying a different tracker. ... show more

This activity tracker makes it easy for me to see how how healthy my puppy Max is! It's a convenient way to check how much activity, sleep and calories he has burned throughout the day. We have a goal of walking together everyday and this makes it easy to see how much progress he has made! It makes me feel safe knowing that if Maxie gets lost, I can send out a notification to other Poof users who can keep an eye out for him. It also recommends how much food he should be getting. On top of that, this product is super lightweight and only about the size of a quarter! The only thing that I can say is that it was a little bit hard to open the "Pea" to put the battery in, but once I got it open it worked fine! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to see how much activity their pet has throughout the day.     • Big Disappointment
So far this has been a big disappointment. Will not connect to phone or IPad. Receive error message that connection failed with every try, even with the pea laying on top of the phone. Connected support 3 times and received no response. Worked it was initially actives and has not worked since. Very difficult to install the battery. Case looks like it screws together like the back of a watch but I guess it snaps together? Considering returning it very soon. UPDATE: Upon receiving a new Pea and having the very same difficulties the customer service finally told me that there is connectivity issues between the Pea and the type of phone I have. It may be compatible with Android phones but not so much with the Droid Turbo 2. Am waiting to hear if there will be a fix for this otherwise I will be returning it and looking for something that is compatible with my phone. ... show more
