This bowl will absorb anything put in it. Any foods will change the color. I find it had to consider anything clean again when its so porous that sweet potatoes change it from blue to tan/pink. The spoon was the worst.

I was looking for something that wasn't made in China and found this. This bowl is made in South Korea and from platinum silicone. Although the bowl doesn't have suction, they are stackable (so perhaps better for older kids). I have only washed it so far, but it looks durable and of good quality. Haven't tried yet, but says it is machine washable, microwavable, freezer friendly, and sterilizer friendly. My LO will be using it in a couple of months and I will update my thoughts on those features... As a side note, customer service is amazing! ... show more

Update 8/10/21: I don’t have a need for the bowl as much, yet, but I’m still loving the spoon. It is a little stained (doesn’t bother me) but has held up well to steam sterilizing and now that my baby has teeth, the end with silicone bumps is perfect for cleaning his little teeth and gums after feedings. It’s essentially a 3-in-1 spoon. I love this little set! It is so cute and I feel like it’s the perfect starter set for feeding but with the added bonus of storing and use for travel as well. I think this is my favorite spoon of the ones we have because it is long and skinny and the end is soft, flexible, small and has just the right amount of “scoop” so it’s not too big or too small, too flat or too much of a dip. It is small, a lot smaller in person, but babies don’t eat much and you can use it as a snack bowl for older ones. ... show more

What a fantastic gift for new parents or for the little ones! This set is nicely packaged and will make going out and about that much easier. The case for the spoon is an awesome touch to keep your bag clean, and the lid on the bowl means you can save food for a later time. Soft to the touch, yet tough enough for the dishwasher. The spoon being able to double as a teether is another great feature. I received this as a product tester, but really wish I'd had it when my kids were little. I gave it to a friend who thinks it's fantastic for her little one! I bought this for when I went on vacation with my 9 month old baby. It worked great and very functional. The lid for the bowl kept all the food inside and never spilled. It was also great having a case for the spoon, so it wouldn’t get dirty my bag. My daughter loved using the teething part of the spoon as well. After agonizing over the just the ‘right’ spoon to start feeding my baby with I settled on This and was not at all disappointed. My baby was a preemie and is still just a little thing but can handle this spoon really nicely. (She is 5months and weighs a little over 10lbs). I love how flexible this spoon is and the depth of the spoon allows for just the right amount of food for starting out on solids. The bowl is great too, but I was really excited for the spoon and love it comes with a little travel case that would easily fit another couple of spoons of the same brand. I bought the choco-purple Color which I love and probably doesn’t stain as easily as other colors. As a chef I know things like sweet potato and carrot stain containers fairly easily so I don’t think this is a flaw specific to this product. I bought a different set and so decided to return this one since the different set came with two and this one was only 1 bowl so can’t speak to how easy it is to clean.
