    • One of, if not the best, unit at this price point!
I recently put in a whole new sound system into my genesis coupe. Took me a long time to figure out which head unit to buy and I watched a lot of YouTube videos. Compared to other head units at this price (kenwood and the like) I noticed that this had the most responsive touch screen in the videos. Operations would happen almost instantly while it took other units a second or two to display. I’m happy to report that this was the case IRL as well. This is a very responsive touch screen and has all the customization options I had hopped for. Subwoofer settings, speaker levels, listening positions, it’s all there! The Bluetooth works flawlessly; it connects automatically to my phone and starts playing Spotify right off the bat. There’s also a DVD player built in if you want to watch a movie or play from a CD. The only con I can think of is that background customization is limited. But that’s being nit picky! Plus you have rgb lighting to make up for it, which you have a huge range of colors to choose from. If I could change anything about this it would be to add a volume knob instead of having buttons, but I’ve gotten used to them pretty quickly! All in all this is a great choice if you’re in the market for a new head unit. For reference, I’ve got 4 alpine type S speakers with a ported 10” sub. Sounds amazing. ... show more

I bought this stereo to replace my factory one since what I really wanted was the Bluetooth capability. Since this was going in my truck it also offered the option of the backup camera which I also bought separately. That being said this was the perfect option for what I wanted. This deck has plenty of power, Bluetooth has been working flawlessly, and the backup camera works great as well. I was going to add an amp but after the install decided against it since this deck has more power that my factory option and the sound is so customizable with the equalizer, it makes it really easy to tailor the sound you are after. The cost of this deck is fair and the quality seems to be good as well. I would recommend to anyone wanting to update the old factory stereo to one with more power and the addition of Bluetooth. ... show more

    • The more I use it, the more I like it.
Pioneer makes reasonably price really good car stereos, but sometimes they're inscrutible! Need a Ph.D. and the manual to use them. This one is totally different, it's touch screen, the controls are easy to see and use, it pairs to bluetooth easily, and the sound is clear and crisp. Very good reception better than oem radio the backup camera av port hooked right up to an existing backup wireless camera receiver not wired and works great buy the metra gm antenna adapter and metra double din mount and crux gm interface if putting in a 03 to 07 Chevy Silverado to keep factory door chime like mine. for Some reason I was able to ground parking brake wire and have DVD player work while moving so I sent bypass module back Bluetooth has the strongest range out of any of my devices it also has hands free calling very easy install I was afraid to install it myself but it was easy when i did it ... show more

    • Best bang for your buck
Very solid, affordable, double din touchscreen. I haven't used the video so I cant speak on that feature, but, the screen and graffics appeare very crisp. The touch is instant as well, 0 lag in the system. I mostly got this unit for the tuning capabilities. My stock system (shaker 500) had the basic "high, mid, low" which was garbage. With this deck I was able to fine tune the highs, mids, and lows, as well as the factory subwoofers. Imo the in deck filtering capabilities couldnt be better on this unit. It truly transformed my sound system. I'm so happy infact I'm no longer going to go all out and build a full aftermarket sound system. (Ateast for awhile) I give this unit a 10/10 for the pricing and tuning capabilities. As said before tho, I cant speak on the video features, so, 4 solid stars from me. ... show more
