I have another heater that does not have a fan motor, it's like a radiator, some liquid heats up inside and over time it heats up SLOWLY, it works well after it heats up but it takes time, good for the bathroom because of moisture, so I got this one because it has a fan and heats up quickly but I think I was expecting to get blown over by the fan and I guess that's unrealistic, so this one heats up well but takes some time to warm up the living room but much faster then my other one, it's a little bit tall but looks OK because of it's sleek design which does help it fit in many different places without being crowed, we don't use the garage door opener that came with it, Oh wait it"s a remote but we don't use it, I walk all of the 4ft to it and back to my chair to rest after doing so!     • Heats up my room but it's noisy on the buttons.
I love this heater for my room but the only drawback is that it has a loud beeping sound every time you press anything on the buttons. Even when you first plug it in it beeps. If I knew that I wouldn't have bought it as I like to turn it on at night and don't want it beeping waking anyone up. Other than this it works great. I don't recommend anyone do this but I ended up opening the heater and removing the beeping speaker. So now you can say I love it. lol. Just something to consider for those than like quiet heaters. ... show more

I love this thing! I need to change or clean the filter on back. I lost heat and this was all I had. It kept my living, kitchen, and bathroom (had small wall heater) at 70 while no. I have used fan coupe of times and works justas well. Love the settings, remote, and timer!

I am glad that I gave it a try. I needed a quiet heater in my bedroom, tried several models over the last few years without success. Pelonis tower heater is very quiet, though not a very strong heater, so if you need a quiet heater in a small to medium size room this would be an excellent choice. Make sure to cycle through the modes to high heat mode (larger flame symbol on the screen), I almost returned it initially because the heat output was barely there in regular heat mode. I am so glad that I can sleep, watch TV, listen to music, etc with the heater on. Hope it lasts. ... show more
