You can tell they're trying their best to ship with good packing, but without an exact fit box and foam support you have to expect some dents from shipping. The metal shell is new and/or painted and there are no scratches, but there are dents due to the lack of side support in shipping (and likely driver stacking things on it). Best one I found for the price, size, and power. Fits my large square plates and they spin freely now. We were nervous about it being a refurb, but no worries, it was clean as a whistle, was packaged well and was a fraction of the cost of a brand new microwave. Basically, why pay $200 or more for a product that works perfect out of the box and looks good?

The panel with the buttons was off. Hubby had to gorilla glue it on. Works fine. The buttons take a while to get use to.

    • Confusing Number Grid But Awesome Microwave
I love this microwave. My only complaint is that the panel where you put in the time and settings is a little complicated. There is not a basic number set-up like you would expect. No, it has things like; 1 minute, 5 minutes, quick 30 sec, 10 seconds. So my special needs daughter always gets confused. Other than that I have really enjoyed the microwave. ... show more

    • Button panel hard to see; no numerical digits on controls.
Works okay for cooking, but the front button panel makes me wish I had gotten something else. I cannot see what I'm pressing unless the room is brightly lit. And yet...the clock LCD is WAY too bright, and needed to be covered with a tinting sticker or it lit up my kitchen at night. No numerical digits to enter cooking time (or even setting the clock time). On a microwave at this price point, this was an unnecessary oversight. ... show more
