I am absolutely loving this phone. For those of you that are simply tired of spending $900+ on a phone that locks you into a 30 month payment plan with any of the big name carriers, I would highly recommend you look into this phone. I currently have AT&T and needed a new phone due to purposely smashing my Samsung Galaxy S7. That was the worst phone I have ever owned in my life; it was slow and had a terrible battery life since day 1. Anyways, after being so disappointed in my S7 that cost me several hundred dollars over the course of 30 months, I started to look into "budget phones" and watched a video that stated this was the best one of 2018. I decided... what the heck... $200 for a new phone? As long as it lasts me 1 year, it will still be as effective as one of the name brand phones. Well, It's only been about a week... and I am INCREDIBLY happy with this phone. The battery lasts me all day without a charge, and when I charge it before bed it still has about 30-40% charge left. (I do keep it on battery saver mode during work, but it still operates great on battery saver). The phone is benchmarked faster than the S7, and it shows. It's a much smoother feel of operation compared to my S7. Also, let's not forget how absolutely gorgeous this phone is. The metallic yet glossy blue; simply beautiful. The screen may only be 720p, but phone screens don't need to be UHD or even 1080p because they're considerably smaller than a PC Monitor or a TV. It has most of the bells and whistles that a large company phone would have, including a pretty decent portrait mode camera (dual-camera). TLDR - If you're looking for a cheap smart phone that looks, feels, and performs like a big box phone. This is the one to get. ... show more

    • Amazing phone for games and great battery life.
After much trial and error with unlocked phones, i have learned to check the bands first before considering a phone. This one had enough T-Mobile US LTE bands to allow me to talk and play Pokemon Go at the same time. Runs high end games beautifully, great build quality, and the included case is a major plus. The biggest reason it is getting 5 Stars is the battery Lots of phones can run all the games and have great connection and whatnot, but not many can do it for hours without being charged. I am extremely impressed with how long this lasts and how fast it charges! Highly recommended for T-Mobile users in the US. I cannot comment on other carriers connections. ... show more

    • Performs like a $800 phone for 1/4th the price!
The G3 has been a wonderful surprise. I was having issues with my Samsung and started looking into phones. I looked at returning back to the iPhone and other top of the line phones. Knowing that the life of any phone I own is usually a year, spending $800-$900 just for a phone doesn't fit my budget anymore. The operation of the G3 is incredibly smooth. I opened the box, inserted my network Sim from my old phone and turned it on. Less than 5 minutes I was out the door and using my phone for the day. The battery lasts all day long streaming music. The display has an incredible picture quality and 18:9 aspect ratio is great for streaming games and movies. The one thing that stood out over all of the stats and numbers was the curved design. It fits my hand perfectly and feels secure operating it with one hand. <--- unexpected bonus Great phone all around. This is an amazing phone. Pictures and videos are colorful, crisp, and clear. Has VoWifi, which I love because I live in the middle of nowhere and rarely have a good signal. I like using fingers to take a screenshot. Sound is good. Finger print magnet. Glass front and back. If I had small children or grandchildren I would get a different case for it then the one that was included. It has a fast charger. It works with T-MOBILE or AT&T. I chose T-MOBILE. Update Dec 22, 2018: yesterday I got a notice for a wireless update. I checked it out. It was for Android 8, Oreo. The update took a while but went smoothly. I am very happy with this phone and appreciate the OS update, almost like a totally new phone. I continue to strongly recommend this phone. Best $200 on a phone ever spent. I see they now have a red phone too! You can’t go wrong with this phone. I really like this phone. Early on I had problems with the phone but customer service by way of the Amazon vendor messages got me fixed up. They did offer a phone number to call but issues were resolved without having to call (Thanks John). The phone runs Android 7.1.1 with an 8 core Media Tek processor, really snappy. The phone sensitivity is very good. I have terrible ATT coverage at my home. My iPhone 5S and Huawei Mate 7 give me only about 50% indoor coverage meaning I have to go outside to take a call on them 50% of the time due to very poor ATT coverage. With the G3, i have a strong reliable signal inside all the time. From a style perspective, it is very similar to the Samsung S9. it includes curved glass on the front giving a stylish impression. Back case is 'sapphire' or blue as in the picture. I like the color but it seems to be the only option and others may not like it, but really you shouldn't use a phone without a case so I'm not sure what it really matters. The phone does come with a clear 'case' that is really just a cover. It probably wouldn't provide any drop protection, but if you really like the color of the phone you could use this. if you are into selfie's the phone has dual cameras front/back and a flash on both sides. I'm not a selfie person, but can understand the benefit of having that extra flash on both sides. Like Apple and other phones, no headphone jack so you either need to use the included adapter or buy a Bluetooth headset of some kind. The audio volume seems a bit low, but more than usable thru the earpiece. In speaker mode the volume is good as is the quality. If you want HiFi, use a Bluetooth speaker. If you're like me, you have a box of USB chargers around. This phone uses USB C, so unless your box includes those, you'll need to invest in a few spare cables/chargers. Of course the phone includes one, but you'll want one in the car or work as well. As far as I can tell, it only operates on GSM/LTE networks like ATT, but I did see several reviews from others with instructions for operation on a WCDMA network like Verizon including instructions, but I haven't tried yet. There is a menu setting to prefer different networks and this includes WCDMA but I can't confirm this mode of operation, maybe someone else can. Overall a great phone and I look forward to using it. If anything changes, I'll update my review but I don't expect any. Would strongly recommend this phone if you are considering it. even though the brand was unknown to me, customer service was excellent. As for roaming, I can confirm that the phone will work in China and Europe. Make sure to set the proper roaming settings and contact your local carrier before you travel. Update: After taking thousands of pictures, I would like to add a few photos. As mentioned above, it includes a front camera and a front flash, but the rear camera is great. Sometimes a little tricky to select the mode (panoramic, beauty, etc), but with a little patience, it will take absolutely great photos. See the attached below.
