  • Seems fine.. At first
I had this mic stand for less than 5 day and maybe used it for a total of 4 hours. In that time, the swivel joint where the arm meets the desk clamp bent and would rub when the arm was passed over the clamp. The arm also has a lot of bounce to it when you move it/doesn't stay exactly where you position it, which is frustrating also. The shock mount is ok, but the elastic bands constantly come off if you're not super careful and the "hoop" that holds the whole assembly to the arm wobbles in the connection to the arm. Also, the way it screws on to the arm is such that if you tilt the microphone in one direction the whole shock mount will start to unscrew, which is obviously also a problem. The microphone holder part of the shock mount is also too small to properly fit an AT2020 mic. Overall, it was about 13 bucks for me to purchase, and it seems like the kind of quality you'd get for about that much, which, it turns out, just isn't good enough. Avoid this. ... show more

  • G A R B A G E
So my old mic arm from the same brand has ran its course and I decided to go with the same brand... Worst mistake. I got this bad boy in May I think and it would slip off my desk when I tried to adjust it. It wouldn't hold up my mic (Audio Technica at2020). This thing is poorly made and will be the last time I buy this brand. ... show more

  • Don't get if you have a blue yeti
Says it works for blue Yeti it did not. About 4 swivels and the whole thing feel over. I had it full clamped in but it is just too weak to support that kind of weight. Feels cheap overall might work if you have a light mic but very annoyed it mentions a mic that does not work in the description

  • Awesome stand.
I’ve had this stand on for months now and I think it’s time for a review. This stand is , well, pretty damn cool. There are some basic complaints I have which mainly ties into the fact that sometimes it gets unclipped and occasionally you will have to readjust it; however, it was easy to setup, adjusts really well, and I really like it for my Blue Yeti ... show more

  • A very good product.
Overall, I like it a lot. It was very inexpensive, and considering that it came with the shock mount, I think it was a good value, and it does what I need it to do. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it did not come with instructions. Although it is not incredibly tricky, in trying to figure out the best way to mount and extend it, without a definitive diagram I was afraid I might bend it wrong and basically ruin the whole thing. It is likely not the most rigid mic stand out there, but it also doesn't cost as much as the others. ... show more

  • Great for podcasting
Bought this for recording music standing up. It's a little awkward in my setup, but it works and is a good height. I started using it for a podcast I'm doing with a couple friends, and that's where it shines. Firm enough to hold my xlr mic. Check your mic size before buying.

  • Great product, could use a better swivel
this is a super great and affordable solution for the amateur home studio. personally i use it for twitch streaming and youtube and it works fine for my purposes. only issue i have is that it doesn't swivel super well, but it gets the job done for the price.

  • Cheaply made.
The tightening screw right below the mic adapter piece is cheap and broke pretty easy tbh and the screw on thread adapter doesn’t stay tight. Always loose. Plus at the base of the mic stand where it screws onto your desk the metal piece that comes up and extends to the start the frame bends and folds very easily so when I rotate the mic stand it’s scrapes the clamp. Honestly wouldn’t buy again tbh. Sadly. ... show more
