Mrs. Baldwin review: I use this for my drinking water, to make coffee, to give my pets better water in their bowls. I like my water room temperature. We were filling bottles to put in the refrigerator for my husband. He liked it so much he asked me to order another pitcher to keep in the refrigerator. Less bottle refills, very worth it, so we got a second pitcher for cold water. I like that the filter is not soaking in the water, this makes for much better tasting water. We have a water/ice dispenser on the freezer door, but we just use it for ice cubes now. For those who say the filter doesn't secure well enough, I say get used to how it goes in place when doing the first pitcher rinse. Push it in a bit more & it will filter just fine, no getting around the edges. I change the filters every quarter to easily remember when a new one is needed. I've had quite a few water filter pitchers but hated the "filter taste" if it soaked too long. Like I said above, we liked it so much we bought a second one. ... show more

My wife needed a small pitcher for cold water at her work, she has a small refrigerator in her office and wanted to have cold water in her office rather then having to refill at the water fountain all day. Well found this and she is happy with it. We did use the filter since the water at her work is already filtered, but I loved the fact it is a long life filter. I don't have to purchase expensive filters every month. I would purchase this again and do recommend it for household use. It is small and compact for a regular refrigerator and would fit on a small door shelf to be out of the way and convenient to use. ... show more

I just started using this product. I worried about how fast it filtered. Is this really filtering? If the filtering slows down as other reviews suggest, I wonder if it is working? I don't really taste anything different. I do have 120 warranty. I am going to come back in a couple of weeks to finish this review. ... show more

Pros: Filters quickly Large enough pitcher Appealing design Quick fill port at top - Great idea, poor implementation Tastes good Cons: Fill port sometimes gets stuck and needs some encouragement to open Fill port does not seal, very difficult to dispense water while filter tank has water in it without mixing the two as the unfiltered water spills out of the filling port Filter Tanks is too small, even if you refill it every time you dispense water, you will likely be removing more water and than you are replacing, resulting in not having enough water filtered frequently. I would say you need to refill it about 4 times to get a full pitcher. If they increased the filter tank size and fixed the fill port so it doesn't stick and seals when pouring, this would go from a good water filter to a great one. ... show more

I only paid $2.97 for my pitcher but that’s because I used Amazon gift cards that were gifted to me. I love this water filter. I do wish they had cheaper filters but they work better than the replacement brand. This is an excellent brand.

I like this pitcher because it holds so much, filters so well, and is easy to use. No need to take the lid off as you add water through a trap door thing on the top. It filters FAST, another plus. No waiting for the water to drip like it does with a Brita filter. Sturdy and well-made.

My wife uses this all the time and the filter makes the water taste amazing. We have used others that filter the water, but those didn't last as long as this one does. Great value for the money.
