Pros: The chair is comfortable to sit in. The tilt feature works well and the return spring is strong. The chair will tilt completely back but, as the manual indicates, there is a risk of it tipping over when you do that, so I don't. The chair also will rock back on a spring, like most office chairs. The chair is quite comfortable in recline with the footrest extended, at least for me, I am 5'8", 165 pounds. I do not have an issue with the pleather (polyurethane imitation leather) upholstery, it is fine. Not as soft as bonded leather but it will not peal over time. Finally, the installation kit contained 1 extra bolt of each size, which I appreciate. Cons: The arm rests have a little padding but were too hard on my elbows, so I ordered padded armrest covers. The brackets for the support rods for the footrest were loose. When I tightened them, it took some tugging to get the footrest to slide out from under the seat, as it is a pretty tight squeeze when the brackets are properly tightened. But, it does slide out. As you can see from the picture above, the factory missed the cutout for one of the bolts for the recliner mechanism by about 2mm. I used the point of scissors to perforate the pleather to get at the nut underneath. The second picture shows a bit of the original hole still visible after the cover is installed. Not horrible, but a clumsy mistake at manufacturing. The rest of the holes for assembly were aligned correctly. So, overall, I give this chair 3/5 stars. I think it is generally comfortable and sturdy but I ordered armrest covers to save my elbows. Revised 5-22-22 I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars. I bought armrest covers and now find the chair comfortable to use. Looking at other gaming chairs, I believe the hard armrests are typical. My comments above concerning my difficulty with assembly, however, still apply. I still find the footrest a bit of a chore to extend after I tightened the mounting bolts, but I do not use that feature enough to substantially affect my rating. Basically, I bought this chair for the reclining feature that previous office chairs did not provide and this unit meets that need.
