abunda_amazon_reviews It's thin but does the job, plus I expected it to be thin because I read the description. To install: I'm experienced with these products as I have a studio. You DON'T have or need to apply any spray adhesive MUCH LESS on your WALL. To remove them, you'll destroy your wall, the paint plus the drywall coating will rip apart. INSTEAD, use a Surtape brand double sided adhesive roll (see pictures) by applying the tape on a black cardboard (found in most department stores in the school supply session). It also does not need to be the exact size of the acoustic foam. Note that 2' of each foamon ↕️ orientation will stay a tad outside the cardboard foam area since the cardboard is not 2' tall which is no problem, and on the ↔️ orientation, in a sequence of 2 x 6 foams signed, you can cut the 3rd piece cardboard and tape them with each other to exactly 6' wide. BUT before you stick the foam on the tape, apply 5 dots of hot glue to all 4 sides of each foam plus 1 dot in the center. As soon as you apply the glue, you MUST bond the foam immediately! Otherwise it will cool off in seconds. This will stay neat, pretty and FLUSH to your wall, the cardboard is also black which will blend behind and the side view. Materials: 12 acoustic foams that you bought. 1 Suretape Roll # 317767 / 52340 A hot glue gun (also to secure the foam on the cardboard. I bought these panels to make it echo less in the room, however this product is very low quality and does not perform as advertised. I've been a musician for my entire life, and I have a lot of experience with REAL acoustic foam, which is typically much more expensive. The foam that came in my package was very very thin and resembled cheap packing material rather than acoustic foam. I mounted the panels onto a posterboard backing in three 2x2 large panels, and hung them up around my studio. I noticed ZERO change in the acoustics. The only reason I rated it at 2 stars instead of 1 is because you get what you pay for, and in a small application, such as a box for voiceover vocals, these may be a good solution, however they are not suitable for room applications. Also, for anyone considering these to "soundproof" a wall, apartment, dog barking, etc. They will do nothing to help with your sound issues. I was recording a considerable echo in my audio because of the way the room is. I originally used it to line a storage box (LOHAS Home Closet Fabric Drawer,Foldable Fabric Baskets,Storage Bins (Natural)) and create a low cost "recording booth" for my microphone (See Images). I then upgraded my set-up with a new boom arm (NEEWER Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand) to free up space on my desk. This then left me with having to find a way to install the foam around my new microphone location. I looked into buying the spray glue, but have heard that certain types don't always work. Plus I didn't feel like putting up with the smell for a few days. Not wanting to risk ruining the foam, I decided to try stapling the foam to an extra piece of drywall I had. It worked perfectly! Now, not only did I not ruin a wall by gluing or stapling foam to it, but I have the option to move it around if I were to move or wanted to rearrange my set-up. Overall, this foam is perfect for what I needed. I no longer have an echo and my overall audio quality has improved. It looks and sounds great, my family thinks that I am really loud
The products came not too long after I purchased it. It looks and sounds great, my family thinks that I am really loud, (which I kinda am), and this really helps block some sound coming from my room. Mainly from the music and videogames being played in there.

these may be a good solution, however they are not suitable for room ...
I bought these panels to reduce the echo is my jam studio, which is a finished basement with pergo flooring and drywall walls. Do not buy.

Perfect! Plus I found an easier way to install it!
I bought this acoustic foam to improve my recording quality. I hope this review helped!

Perfect and inexpensive
It's thin but does the job, plus I expected it to be thin because I read the description. Glue dots should be in the shape of a 5 dot dice (1 glue dot on all 4 corners plus 1 in the center) 3 black cardboards (typically Elmer brand) Scissors (to cut the tape) Ruler (to mark cardboard to cut) Utility knife (to cut the 3rd cardboard to size ↔️. 1 removable damage free picture hanging frame holder (to attach your built panel ON the wall and its removeable)

Extremely Flammable
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I was somewhat skeptical about the claim of being TB117 compliant despite being way less expensive than others that are properly fire retardant, so I ripped off part of a panel and exposed it to an open flame. The whole thing caught fire and melted in seconds. I wasn't expecting too much acoustical performance for the price, but lying about being flame retardant is unforgivable at any price.

I have a quick mounting solution.
It's exactly what I expected. Great for my starter/mini recording studio. As far as mounting, I placed some Scotch double stick indoor mounting squares on the back of them. Then I placed painters tape on the wall and then pressed the mounting tape against that. The purpose of the painters tape is so that the scotch squares don't rip the paint off the wall.

Great for door / wall soundproofing!
I share an out of use internal door in a subdivided house with my neighbors. The door was very transparent to noise (not that my neighbors are especially loud, just that we probably do not want to be listening to each others conversations all of the time). I bought 24 of these acoustic wedges (only needed 16 in the end) and attached them to the door to create a sound barrier. They do a great job! I would say that the noise level on both sides of the house has been cut 75%. I do not know how they might compare to the competition, but I would definitely recommend them to renters looking for an inexpensive sound muffler.
